I didn't want to wander too far from Nagano Station on a cold windy evening. There were only a few people when I went (7 something pm), but as I ate more people came in and they had to wait for seats. It was the typical bar seats in an L shape with the kitchen in the middle. They have... More

We stopped by this joint after reading some reviews on tripadvisor. Average ramen with lots of vege. If you're looking for a quick ramen fix near the station, this is it.

My wife and I had a pretty big lunch, so we weren't all that hungry that evening. We saw Misoyaramen on TrioAdvisor and it was a two minute walk from our hotel. We were there at 6PM and got a seat right away, but people kept coming in after us. It seats maybe 12 tops, so you might need to... More

Found a few good reviews of this Ramen that is 3 mins walk from Nagano station. I was a bit hesitated as I prefer pork based soup rather than miso soup.actually, the soup is both pork based and with miso. So it is very nice, not too salty and no soy sauce feel. I picked the Nagano noodle and this... More

After a semi long Shinkansen trip, this place had the perfect meal for us. It's a little hard to find, due to it not having any Romanji on the storefront. But as usual if you ask a local, they are always happy to help. "Sumimasen, Misoya wa doko desu ka?" :) Good place for a budget meal, they only serve... More

Delicious, friendly service and very busy. We had a short wait but food is served quickly. It is located very close to Nagano Jr, so easy to get a quick feed before transfer

This is a very small ramen shop across the road from the JR Nagano Station. Facing away from the station, it is on the right hand side of a building name Best Hotel; and it is on the ground floor. When we were there for dinner, the restaurant was full but fortunately we were the first in the queue so... More
