We got the Shoyu and Miso burnt ramens. Very unique broth that we have never had before. The miso broth is much richer than the shoyu one and you will get much fuller quicker. Slurping too much of the broth will almost definitely guarantee a...More

Nothing to shout about except for the burnt miso broth. A nice smoky taste thanks to the high temperatures that they subject the lard to. Noodles itself was just normal. There's also a cover charge, but they supplemented it with an appetiser dish.

The burnt miso ramen here is very unique and it was very good. We tried both the shoyu and miso versions and preferred the shoyu. We ordered some sides as well and when the bill came we were a little surpriced at how high the...More

Nothing really noteworthy about the place except the food is really good. Service was ok and atmosphere was basic but we were sitting at the bar so maybe there are nicer areas of the place. But I would definitely go back for the ramen. And the...More

Waited 1 hour before we could go inside for dinner. The restaurant will let you place all your orders then in the end tell you that there is table charge of 400 JPY per person. The charge was never mentioned on the menu or anywhere...More

It was pretty good. That’s all. We queued up for 20 mins to experience a disappointing dinner. Upstairs has no atmosphere and the lightings way to bright. The service is okay and the food we chose, again okay. Would we do this again? No.

Absolutely delicious food. Unless you don’t like smokey flavours: don’t listen to the fools who say the food is burnt, the miso ramen is incredible! The tempura tuna is like butter. Really friendly and gracious service makes this s place we’d recommend fully!

Felt deceived and upset. Spoilt our last night in Kyoto. Service charge of 400yen was only informed after you ordered. No free tea unlike other restaurants, much to our unpleasant surprise. We asked for refill but they didn't inform us that there is no refill...More

Drooped in for lunch on a friend's recommendation. It was nice and cool given the unseasonably warm weather outside. We had a plate of gyoza - good and then both had the special. Burnt ramen with soy. This was very tasty. The "best ever" -...More
