Whilst the menu was not massive, everything was as fresh and tasty as could be. The salad was to die for, the coffee was good and the pasta excellent. Quite a find

Cafe Foodelica is a great choice for lunch, afternoon sweets or dinner. Perfect date spot, too. The pasta is unforgettable, as owner/chef Sasha makes all the pasta by hand from her family's own flour mill, cures the delectable ham for carbonara herself, and even stuffs...More

No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its

bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to
peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home

is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and

Description
Our Cafe in Shugakuin is inspired by the concept of 'No Factory Food'. We make almost everything from scratch using fresh ingredients, including our sun-dried tomato sauce, our family-made fresh pasta, flans, sausages, home-cured ham, cheese, ginger ale, and our ice-cream. We also have free Wi-fi and speak English and Japanese. We also have a great wine selection. Very reasonably priced, and fun!
