We ate at the place multiple times, many vegetarian choices, food was excellent (I am North Indian so I know the cuisine :)), service was good, prompt and accommodating with kids and families. Great find!!

We ended up there for dinner, looking to eat different then japanese. It was good indian food (not the touristy one you have sometime) and well seasoned (not too spicy at all like others said, maybe they are used to touristy places finally ;-) )....More

Our meal was excellent--rice with vegetable korma and saag paneer (superior), raita, with an Indian salad to start. The naan was exquisite, very light, thin and slightly crisp. It's probably the best Indian meal I've had to date.

we usually do not eat Indian on vacation but really had the urge in Kyoto. we were not disappointed, the food was authentic and the service excellent. hit the spot after repeated Japanese meals which were not as good as we expected.
