It was nice place to go. The environment was so good. I will come here again with my friend. But it was a little expensive.

Description
Orient Express is a french restaurant under french management. The cuisine is real and authentic French and is not an approximate interpretation as it is often the case in china at “western”, “French” or “Italian” restaurants. It is located on the beautiful Shamian island in the center of Guangzhou. The restaurant has a large beautiful garden for outdoor dining. It also has a main dining room and two train wagons in the garden for romantic dining. It serves authentic French food for all budgets. The French cuisine combines traditional and authentic flavors with modern and original designs of the dishes. You will indulge yourself with:bourgogne snails,pan-fried goose liver with strawberries, fish tartare marinated and its red tuna sashimi, two kinds of fish carpaccio and its salmon cream,pan-fried scallops and black rice and asparagus,pan-fried sea food, grilled australien beef filet mignon with red pepper “crème brûlé” and crumble, grilled new Zealand lamp chops with houmous, babajanouj and roast vegetables, the traditional French bourguignon beef, french “Confit” style duck leg…It is a place visited by Chinese clients who are looking for an authentic French cuisine experience and come for birthdays, to ask their girl friend to marry, a special business meal or simply with the family. Many foreign business people as well as expatriate foreigners living in Guangzhou are regular clients.L’Orient express est un restaurant de cuisine et de gestion française.
