Very much disappointed! Travellers Cafe should be a welcoming place with some English spoken by staff and cheaper prices. Prices in this cafe are comparable to Europe, not for backpackers on the budget. Coffee was actually really good even if expensive, but the food was tasteless and not worth the money. We ordered pork skewers, one with rice and one... More

We actually wanted to write something about the cafe on our Foodwebsite. But after what we have experienced we cannot really recommend it anymore, The name is absolutely not accurate. We are travelers! And when we entered the place with our backpacks we got grumpy looks. So we ordered lots of food to make them happy again. The food is... More

Came across this place purely by accident while exploring the streets of Irkutsk. Staff are very polite and helpful. Coffee was great and food was good. Pleasant, comfortable environment. Definitely a good pit stop while exploring. Not as pricy as people are making out. I had a large coffee and savoury crepe for about £3.00. Considering that the coffee alone... More

Excellent pit stop with very good free wifi. Coffee good and reasonable cafe style menu. Staff very friendly and make real effort to be helpful despite limited English.

I walked into this coffee shop while I was walking on the streets of Irkutsk, one cold evening. The staff was quite pleasant and friendly. I had ordered a Cappuccino and a nutty cheese cake. The cheese cake was super nice but coffee was extraordinarily tasty. I don't remember having a cappuccino as good as this. I am no connoisseur... More

Also food and cakes selection was quite good. But the coffee was the best - We haven't expected to find such a quality here. We would recommend 'Chemex' serving especially.

Everything is quite expensive. Staff doesn't speak english. All in all it's not what you might expect about a "travellers coffee".

One of the better places in Irkutsk for coffee and cakes. You can also connect to their wireless and spend time here sipping and surfing. Service is reasonable by Siberian standards. The restaurant is one of a chain of several throughout Russia. I would recommend this as the closest thing to Starbucks in Irkutsk.

too pricey and almost no english speaking staff here. The name of the cafe makes you think this is a good place for a foreigner, but it's not.
