Try to get a table near or at the window and let the buzzing Newsky Prospect traffic flow by. Wonderful view to the old cathedral on the other side of the street. Good choice of hot and cold food on the menu. Relaxed place.

As previous reviewers have recommended. I second the opinion that it's a great place for a meal and to watch the world go by on busy Nevsky Prospect. I had a lovely fluffy omelet whilst my son had a chicken-filled blinis.

After a long day exploring the beautiful city, this is one of the best cafes to chill and relax. Centrally located just opposite the Karzan cathedral, the cafe is located on the third floor inside the bookstore. Food is excellent and service is good.

The view is nice. People were waiting for an empty table by the window even if others were empty. The food is not so great. I went for lunch and dinner, and the only thing I kind of liked was the ginger lemonade.
