The decor in this was is stunning....it really makes you feel that you are in a different world. The food was delcious and arrived in a timely manner. The waiters are observant to your requirements and make you feel welcome (I was a solo dinner). Althought the service was a little slow once I had finished my meal. This is... More

An unobtrusive entrance disguises the palace within-you dine beneath painted blue skies which arch high above you and the walls are decorated with ornate gilt paintings like something from Versailles. We went for brunch, which lasted from 1-5:45pm, at which point we were encouraged to leave (as they close at 5:30).Although it is a buffet format which I usually find... More

It's hard to find signboard, but then you enter you will find yourself in large castle with life music. It has asiatic and russian cuisine. That evening the fish tartars were excellent, pasta also very good. I disliked lamb, as for me it was too greasy and too much lard. As for desserts, one was too simply "ptich'e moloko", second... Turandot is amongst the most luxurious restaurants in Moscow. It serves truly amazing dishes in an impressive 19th century faux-chinese decor and ambience ... but you'll pay the equivalent to a month's salary for it. I guess that would be ok if the service wouldn't be so slow compared to what one should expect.

Absolutely a great place to go, specially for tourist, you will be shocked by this place... Highly recommending. Before they had a beautiful brunch on Saturdays from 13:00-18:00 with all the food and alcohol drinks included (price per person 100 euro) But check for it before you go!

My husband and I went to Turandot for our Christmas dinner. We were blown away by the both décor and the food. Our waitress spoke fabulous English, and we took her suggestions for food and were glad that we did. For one of the most expensive restaurants in Moscow, we felt the prices were reasonable. Two cocktails each, a shared... More

Amazing, unbelievable decor. They told us that they spent 5 years to do it. Our waitress was really nice, polite and she answered all the question related to our choices. Very tasty dishes more close to Asian cuisine. The one Chef is for there so he influenced the menu. Anyway our main dishes were very good. The dessert (profiterole) was... More

Good food, breathtaking interior design, wide variety of cuisine you can choose inside, close to metro, and reasonable price. The only thing i can be cherry picking is if the waiters and waitress can smile more, speak better english, this will be a perfect place (but here is Moscow, so why is that a matter?). Still I cannot resist to... More

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant whose unusual and striking decor is invariably commented upon by other reviewers. Although not original, the decor creates an atmosphere of "olde world charm" and one can easily imagine being in pre-Revolution Imperial Russia. Dining is on two levels and the upper level offers a unique ceiling and a dining area around a central... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Just wished we had gone on a night where they provide entertainment. Will definitely go back next time i'm in Moscow.

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
