The waiter who worked before on Greece was very friendly and polite. Spoke good English and explained all the meat and fish in detail. My husband had fish steamed in package with vegetables and patotoes together. I had boulettes of dear with blueberries sauce. Take a side plate with it as I did. We had kvas with the meal. My husband and I ate here first night in Moscow. It was enjoyable experience, live music and good drink options. I believe the people in the table next to us were also Americans. Recommended.

Exquisite siberian food with extremely friendly and professional service. We had several pickled mushrooms, traditional russian appetizer cold stew, bunch of different cold fish appetizers and some deer meat. Everything was exceptional.

The restaurant and the service was very good here, my only bad point is the quantity of the food. They feed you full with complimentary bread and then bring out the smallest portions. Although the food tastes delicious, I'd prefer no bread and better sized meals.

This was probably my 4th or 5th time at this restaurant. The first time was when they just opened, and they haven't changed a bit (in a good way). Amazing Siberian and Russian food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks and bitters! When we came there, they had live music, which added to the atmosphere. It's not cheap, but its not obnoxiously... More

I was traveling in Moscow with two colleagues in June 2015. We really wanted to find a Russian restaurant among all the franchise restaurants everywhere and so finally asked some Muscovites on the street who pointed us here. First, we were delighted by the menu, which had a list of dishes that none of us had eaten before (bear, yak...)... More

Traditional restaurant close to the Pushkin museum. They source all fish and meat from Siberia so be ready to eat something you've never eaten before! I had a very good dinner with frozen fish carpaccio, soup and Siberian deer with pine cones. Very friendly staff (English spoken) and great Siberian drinks to accompany the food. This restaurant is worth the... More

Staying in Khamovniki

Neighbourhood Profile
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
