Wow, this was a delicious meal! We went as a group of colleagues, on the recommendation of a Muscovite colleague. It was amazing! A Russian-speaking colleague handled the ordering (I don't know if the menu was in any other languages besides Georgian and Russian), and she ordered a little of everything. There was 1 other vegetarian, and we had more... More

This is the place I would visit at least once a week if living in Moscow. Very central, but simple. Delicious food, good service and not expensive

A fantastic oasis in Moscow. Delicious authentic Georgian food w a cool vibe (as a piano player plays) and very reasonable prices. I have travelled all over the world and felt this was a real winner. Must visit.

Expecting great things we were disappointed to be shoe-horned on to a small table cheek by jowl with the piano player and next to the chilly draft from the door, it was simply not comfortable. Service was moderately paced but there seemed to be no order to the way in which the dishes came out. One of our group proclaimed... More

This restaurant was a tip from a tour guide...down a darkish street but what a surprise when we opened the door - happy people, cool atmosphere, piano playing, tasty food, good service and good prices. We were so lucky to get a table - Sunday evening and it was full. Delicious fish, skewers, new potatoes, soups etc.

This restaurant offers the best of everything...festive & cool atmosphere, piano player, incredible food, good service and moderate prices. I could have eaten at this place every night. Apparently it's a chain. We also ate at the location in Chistye prudy which was equally awesome and appeared to have a good sized outdoor seating area for warm weather dining. Georgian... More

This restaurant has several addresses in the city. I've been to the one close to Christy Prudy Metro Station (I must say it was a little tricky to find, as it shares the building with other restaurants...) and really enjoyed it! Lively atmosphere, great background music (live piano), nice and gentle staff, reasonable prices... And most important... the food (I... More

All things being equal this is on of the best places for Georgian food in Moscow. Reasonably priced food that is inventive in presentation, comforting in quality and traditionally true to the Georgian cuisine. I thought the portions matched the prices and beverage selection was on par. English menus and friendly waiters are available.

Try and book to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. It's always very busy. Reasonably priced. Food was excellent. Started with their special cheese bread, mains were beef in paper and chicken kebab with a very very hot sauce (optional) with plum crumble and choux bun (spelt shoo). Menu available in English and ask for the photo album. You can see every... More

Went there Friday evening (around 7pm) with no reservation. Waiters told me to wait until table became available and so I did. After about 30 minutes they seated me. In the meantime I could enjoy the live music from a pianist that really liked his job! Food was good and relatively cheap. I had a starter of eggplant with cheese... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
