The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by
Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights
Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers
along with the White House - where the Russian
government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and
casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo,
National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of
fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral

Or, perhaps, you need some place to go? Help Bar is what you need. "Help Bar is not just a bar". It's the first cocktail-bar in Russia. It was founded by Dmitry Sokolov, the first Russian two-times winner of the world bartender championship. Before opening, a research was made to find out why cocktails were not so popular in Moscow. The answer was "cocktails are costly". Then Sokolov chose to lower the prices while offering a large variety of top-notch cocktails, and back in 2004 the first cocktail-bar started to render its help 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The cocktail carte is a real paradise of flavours. The bar's mission is to help develop the cocktail culture. So, here you can get to know all about them - when, where and who invented this particular cocktail and even what celebrity's favorite it was. To make your choice easy the carte has chapters - from 'World Classics' to 'Hangover-Killers'. 'The Champions' League' offers creations by the cocktail championships' winners of the past. 'The Mega Galactic Killers' will help you to reach the stars, but if you prefer to stay on Earth, have a fabulous 'Night Under Palm-Trees' - combining it with the music sounds by DJ Residents you'll get the formula of a fun-guaranteed weekend. Help Bar's cocktail carte is worth a thorough studying. To do that, you need a break for a meal. At least, once in a while. Help Bar's menu features top favorites of different countries - from Mexican bean soup to Italian beef carpaccio, from Scottish salmon stewed in white wine to Russian potato flapjacks called draniki with sour cream. The brick-n-wood interior is arranged in American bar style of the 1930-s. The bar even has its own museum - a rich collection of bottles from all over the world - various in time, place and contents. Have a look and... select and taste it in the bar! Help Bar has serious intentions to turn into a tourist attraction. And the very first cocktail bar has all chances to become one. As, all in all, Help Bar helps to exchange your money for good spirits. At a very favorable rate, indeed.
