We went here on a slow Sunday evening. It is not the first nor the laste time we go here. It is quit relaxed and well cooked food. Lam is good and the chicken also. I had a dish with both mint and ginger -...More

Barashka is a great place to get flavor of regional Azeri cuisine in Moscow. The food is delicious, menu is wide with a good choice of starters as well as chicken and meat grills. Atmosphere is very warm, service quality great. Suggested with friends and...More

Barashka, which serves Azeri food, is part of a chain of different restaurants. I went to the location at Novy Arbat with three colleagues. My rice with veal and dried fruits tasted terrific and was reasonably priced. My colleagues enjoyed everything they ordered as well....More

The staff at the restaurant went the extra mile to help us to understand the menu so that we got what we wanted. The sturgeon and the lamb special were fantastic. This was the best restaurant we ate out at in Moscow

This is one of my favorite places in Moscow. The food is consistently good, and (for a Novikov place) has fairly reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nice, even if the service is not always great, and the crowd occasionally a bit sketchy.

The decor is quaint-- all stone and wood -- and the food is even more authentic. We had a plate of spicy, fresh greens served straight-up on their own, and the table was soon smothered with tomato salad, the most delicious dolmades ever, followed by...More

The average and poor reviewers are mainly referring to other Barashkas in Moscow, this review refers to PETROVKA location. This place was definitely the highlight in this time visit to Moscow. It is cool decorated, with fresh fruits, glasses of fruits on the way upstairs,...More

We decided to give Barashka a try based on a few recommendations and also to give us a slightly different version of regional cuisine - Azerbaijan. The restaurant is relatively easy to find (it is not directly on Petrovka but a half block down the...More

Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first
glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long
street populated with well-known shops and brands. But
it’s more than shopping that makes this place
interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running
parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just
behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy
