This is the best chicken barbecue place for the Cebuano. Growing up in Cebu, those that have moved to other places will always come back for their chicken. And those who stayed will gladly bring them here. It is very simple to rate this place. Very good.
They say its the best bbq place in Cebu, but I thinks its overhyped. Ive tried Yakski and Larsians and they taste so much better. Thought each restaurant has its own taste, people labeling it as the best is an overhyped. Not worth the waiting time.
This place looks like it grew from a backyard barbecue to small enterprise. If you're a group do not come @ the usual noon eating time, the place easily fills up. The parking will also be a challenge. The food is what you'd expect from a backyard industry barbecue so this is not for the squeamish and the choosy.
The experience here is as raw as it gets - the bare-bones table-chair setup, the open-air, smoke-filled atmosphere. Your background music is the symphony of blaring car horns & revving engines from the nearby traffic. Very busy when we visited and had trouble finding a parking slot but we were well assisted by the parking attendant. As there were 18 of us it took a little while to sort out our table but that was accomplished with no fuss at all. We ordered the usual mix of BBQ and the food arrived promptly and well... More
I have been eating here since time immemorial. My family would frequent this place very often. A lot of restaurants have tried and failed to compete with this place. For dinner, it would be best to go there early and order the "Balbacua" its ox tail simmered down to a sticky heart cloggingly good soup. You must also have a... More
I already visited this place thrice, thinking that the place deserves another chance despite the bad experiences in the past. I guess my third time will be the last. Food doesn't really taste good. I guess the inviting smell of the bbq smoke, cheap food, and outdoor ambiance helped in getting customers. Service was slow and you need to remind... More
very simple resturant pinoy style but barbecue is very very good. pig, chicken grille is the best. raccomanded
If you like the smell of grilled / smoked food while eating, you'll definitely enjoy this place. You can choose between the open air seats and veranda seats. Rice is served in coconut leaves (called puso'). Serving is a little small so be ready to eat at least two. If you like chorizo with much fat, you'll really crave for... More
