It's probably the most expensive Peking duck I have ever eaten anywhere in the world in my experience. It was very good but some of the skin were not as crisp as I have had at another place in New York and for less. But the ambience here is elegant and luxurious especially the entrance. Conveniently located, it's a good... More

Our host had already ordered the dishes before our arrival as he wanted to surprise everyone with the delicious dishes as they were brought to the table. We had garlicky braised mixed vegetables that went well crispy slices of cod, scallops with broccoli, ho fan noodles and the pièce de résistance, suckling pig on a bed of Chinese cabbage. It... Good food, well prepared and tasty, variety of dishes and reasonable wine selection. The staff were very helpful and service was good.

the food was superb, but on top of it was service deluxe of warm people from the manager Ms Cyndi and the waiters, joemar, beth, and everyone.. Asking u from tym to tym while continously refilling ur tea and giving u another clean plate..there is nothing more cleaner and sumptois than their food and their service

The chinese cuisine at Shang is surprisingly not to the mark of Shang experience. Average at best but if you are staying at this hotel and got tired of the steak and western food, this could be a change for you.

The Shang palace has always been a favourite for Chinese food in Makati , but the all you can eat dimsum is excellent value - if you have a favourite dish , order again , and again - or choose for the 20+ varieties on offer each day

I was impressed with the decor and the staff. When I told them I am vegetarian and asked for choices they proposed I do half the portion as well. Soup was very good but the braised tofu was average and it was with egg which I can't take. Fried rice was decent but I asked for spicy and it could... More

We entered a truly palatial setting but were seated next to a large family with a couple screaming babies, so I asked the waiter to move us. He ignored me. I asked again and he said there were no available tables. I pointed to an empty table and he walked away. At that point my guests and I picked up... More

Everything on the menu is great. Love their ham suy kok, crystal shrimp dumpling, sweet and sour pork and yang chow fried rice. But don't be scared to order anything because everything I've tried here is good. Ambiance is typical Chinese restaurant in a 5-star hotel. Service is great as always.

Great food and service made for a very pleasant Sunday night dinner. Especially liked the Peking Duck but all dishes were very tasty and well presented. Staff were attentive and their service was great.
