Located about 40 minutes from Syracuse University. We went after graduation and almost drove past the restaurant. The menu had pork, beef, seafood and lamb dishes. Great reviews for the shrimp and scallops. I was a little surprised that the pork chop was very medium rare. It would have helped to have been asked how I wanted it done. The... More

I'll keep it short. The restaurant is very warm, inviting and comfortable.. The server, Michelle, was wonderful. The food is outstanding!!! As a vegetarian, I appreciate having real choices to select from. For some, it may seem a bit pricey, but it is well worth the extra cost for farm fresh, organic and delicious food. We will certainly be going... More

We look forward to occasional day trips from Rochester to a destination with a nice lunch spot and a delightful attraction. Auburn was the choice the other day and we were not disappointed. The word about Elderberry Pond reached use last year with a feature in the Rochester newspaper. It sounded great, but it’s closed over-winter because their offerings come... More

Went with a group of 8 and we had a wonderful lunch together. We were greeted and seated and then since we asked we were told a bit about the restaurants history and mission. The waitress was friendly and knowledgable and the food was fantastic. A quiet rural setting with a menu inspired by local fresh organic ingredients was a... More

My wife and had lunch here today on a gorgeous spring afternoon. We had heard of Elderberry Pond and decided to give it a try. It is out in the country in a wood like setting. The two dining areas are elegant. We had a wonderful table for two overlooking the woods. Service was superb. Our waitress Caroline was friendly... More

This was not our first visit, and it will not be the last. We went for lunch shortly after they reopened for the season. It was cold, with deep snow outside, but warm and cheery inside, with the fireplace going. As usual the specials were inventive, the homemade pizza and soup great. The staff was as friendly and well informed as... More

Everything is very fresh and I think locally produce. Asparagus was best I ever had by a mile, grown on site. I ordered a steak and I think I could have cooked and prepared it better at home. Wife's pasta dish didn't have much taste. Everything was bland and costs a lot. Pass on this.
