The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The service was great, lovely touches like personalised menu and the food was stunning. The head chef and the rest of the team kindly said we could look at how they made a few dishes which...was helpful for us when we come home to try to recreate them! An absolutely wonderful experience, the food here is the best curry ever! The service from Vishal and Roopesh was Michelin standards, but very relaxed and very personable. Loved it!

Very good, with some issues. To be clear this restaurant heavily uses the Michelin rating of Vineet's other restaurants in it's marketing but it does not hold a Michelin star. We had the 7 course taster menu. Described as Tapas for some reason, I assume...lost in translation. First four dishes were very nice but spicing very much toned down for international guests I assume. A fish course lacked any flavour and the final main course was just OK. Final desert was a very large chocolate dish that would not have been out of place on our local Beefeater menu 🤣 (think of a generic restaurant chain). I'd usually expect the desert to be more refreshing in this cuisine. Overall tasty but way too expensive.More

We really enjoyed our evening here at Amari, the food was beautiful and we made sure we tried some dishes that we had never had before. The interior creates a modern vibe within a calm environment. Highly recommend!

Was there to celebrate brother's birthday. Everything about this restaurant was just amazing. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Then...we also had dessert and that was really good as well. We have been to several of Vineet Bhatia’s restaurants in London, so we know he’s a great chef. But Amaya is on a league of its own. The prawns grilled and in curry where what memories are made of. Finally managed to get a reservation at Amari Lux Belle Mare and it was worth the wait. The decor and setting is traditional Indian with a modern twist. The food itself was delicious, we had the seafood as entre and the meat platter for the...main course. It was tasty without the spices overriding the taste of the fish or meat. Best naan in Mauritius so far. The service was excellent and the waiter very helpful.More

Excellent food and very friendly service. We were a family with children and the waiters were very welcoming and the children responded to the smart atmosphere. Food and wine suggestions were very good and service was quick which is appreciated with a family. Deliciously flavoured...and spiced rather than spicy. The food was really great and the service was excellent. My husband loved the prawn starter and the Chicken Biryani was excellent. The naan breads were wonderful. Really lovely elegant surroundings and some peace and tranquility.
