I love the food there so much, it's not expensive, but they do not compromise on the food quality for sure!!

Visited 'ah yat' in genting recently. I have to say the dim sum there was still as good as the first time I visited. Reasonably priced. Loved the birds nest egg tarts. Their service was fast and staff very attentive. But that's as far as they will go though. The staff don't really smile except for the lady standing outside... More

We were having dinner at Ah Yat Abalone in Genting Highlands branch by 2010. The service is very good. The food is tasty. We also tried abalone dishes. We love it! We spend RM500 for 5 as a family. Overall we are very look forward to go again.

We bought vouchers for dinner set consists of abalone and few more dishes. Each serving of dish was very small and the size of the abalone was so tiny that it looked so miserable. The taste was lousy coming from a well known restaurant. We had our 5 course dinner in less than 30 minutes and left the place feeling... More

Went there with hubby. We were so happy when we saw there's Ah Yat Abalone in Genting. End up very disappointed when we stepped out from the restaurant. Cannot believe that they use canned abalone. Almond milk dessert was tasteless. Shark fin soup, the soup is under average. Not worth for money. An absolutely rip-off!

This review is actually for the Ah Yat Abalone in Kuala Lumpur. I couldn't find that restaurant on TripAdvisor. Our family went there in August. We do have to admit they have good food. It was pretty expensive, but acceptable. However, this is not a honest restaurant. We ordered a snow crab, and we picked out the one we wanted... More

We have ordered the Abalone set menu and the abalone turned out delicious, did not disappoint us. Other food in the menu was good and delicious, especially the coconut pudding as dessert. The restaurant also has a good view facing the Twin Tower.

Food quality is so average despite paying so much. Service is lousy. My family have tried the branch in KL. My mom have also tried their branch in Genting and according to her, the quality isn't up to standard as well. Disappointing.

The food quality in Ah Yat Petaling Jaya seems to be deteriorated as compared with my previous visit and the branch in Avenue K. Some of the seafood (fish & crab) is not fresh, but yet they still serve it. Staff service is OK, they will change your plate each time a new dish is served. Overall, this restaurant is... More
