Not sure what all the rave was about. Went for lunch today and half he things we wanted were not available. Reason??- salt fish smelly, anchovies not available... isn't this supposed to serve local indigenous food? 3-layer tea came as a glass of weak tea.

A restaurant that serves delicious local cuisines, in a lovely setting that reflects the types of food served. There’s also the wonderful hostess, Aunty Mary, who made us feel so at home in the restaurant . We couldn’t have asked for more.

The price range from a dish is from RM15 - RM35 (portion for 2-3) We went in a group of 4. It costs us around RM120 for 5 dishes, 4 rice and 4 drinks.

'Dyak' is pronounced 'da-yak'; the old English spelling used by the Brookes to classify generically the various tribes of Borneo. At the.Dyak we serve Dayak cuisine prepared with culinary technique and served on Dayak kitchenware. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. Air-conditioned with free WiFi. Smokers enjoy al-fresco dining. Open from 11:30am till last order at 8:30 pm every day including public holidays. Close on Sundays. Our table is not kosher as we serve pork.
