I knew about this place when they were operating out of a smaller shop not too far from their present location. Their primary products are Swiss rolls, they have a huge assortment of flavours for these. They also make cakes-to-order. Since they moved to the new premises, they have expanded their menu to include Hokkaido tarts and a range of... More

Plenty of flavours to choose from coffee,cempedak,chocolate.....good for snacks and gifts. They also sell home made cakes. Keep cool in a cooler bag and best to eat it fresh.

JJ Cakes and Swiss Rolls started in a small way in a small shop, and gradually moved on to bigger premises when it was proven that their Swiss rolls were better than almost any others available in Ipoh. More flavours were introduced, thus leading to better business. As their fame spread, visitors began buying rolls back to their friends back... More

A shop well known for its Swiss Roll, where even tourist from KL and Penang will drop in to buy them as souvenirs home. Many locals also order them for celebration days such as babies' full moon day or as gifts for grand openings. Although there are many flavours to choose from, but I would prefer homemade cakes rather than... More

If you intend to buy the swiss rolls, get those with fresh cream. And if possible, get some cooler bag/container to keep them fresh.

I love the Blueberry Filling Swiss Roll very much. It always my favorite choice. My Grandmother love it too after the first time i bought for her and always ask for more! Plenty of variety for you to choose but the cream filling is just too much, if you are a cream lover, definitely give a try. And still Blueberry... More

They are famous for their Swiss rolls. The Swiss rolls are freshly baked and there are minimal to none in terms of the quantities of food preservatives. They have a huge range of flavors. You should give it a try!

The variety of Swiss rolls are exhaustive!! Not only are the cakes extremely spongy but there's a generous amount of cream in it too, which makes it one of the best Swiss rolls I've ever had!
