The food served was delicious , we enjoyed it very much as a family . Had the steamed sea bass, tiger prawns cooked in garlic and butter , egg yolk squid , mixed veg and fried rice . For the price , I must say it is very affordable with such fresh seafood cooked well.
This is a very good restaurant, if you are looking for ambience and poshness rather than the quality of food served at affordable price , this isn’t for you.

Our family ate here multiple times during our stay in Langkawi, the food was so excellent we had to keep coming back! The manager works tirelessly and was a fantastic host. He greeted us personally on each visit and made sure we were looked after including even arranging transportation. He helped suggest food items and the kitchen delivered what could only be described as top notch cuisine at a very reasonably price. Would highly recommend a visit to Wonderland!!

On our first night here, we ordered 8 dishes with 2 jugs of water which is RM35 per person; we are 8 people. Very cheap and reasonable price here in Langkawi island. We ate like crazy. As we are enjoyed, next day we went dinner there too! The seafoods are freshly frozen. Great dinner!

I was told that this restaurant is 'local Malay'. It isn't! It's a Chinese seafood restaurant. I didn't see any Malay dishes on the menu.
There's a big queue which starts around 6.15pm and my two dishes took an age to arrive. Nevertheless, the kitchen is extremely well managed. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special. My bill came to 12 euros for one person including hot tea. I wouldn't go back. There are tons of similar restaurants like this in Penang.

We were staying at the st Regis nearby and wanted to get away sometimes in search of local food.wonderland did not disappoint. Portions are huge ( the kind manager did warn us we were ordering too much) we were even able to bring our own wine and Langkawi being a duty free island was an added bonus compared to many SE Asian resorts. Tiger prawns were exceptional and the owner will call a Grab for you when leaving. We ate there 4 times out of our 9 night stay

Visited this restaurant on recommendation from staff at our hotel (St Regis). Everyone of them spoke highly of this facility.
We had the red snapper (whole fish), 8 mantis prawns, seafood fried rice and fresh vegetables in addition to 8 tiger beer all for the princely sum of 230 MR.
The food was delicious and service excellent despite the restaurant being full of patrons.
Certainly well worth the experience.

My family consists of 9 people took our dinner here . It only cost us around rm300 for 9 dishes including 2 type of fish. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. But be prepared to wait cause the queue will be long. Will be going again soon

We had a wonderful dinner at Wonderland Food Store by the riverside. The soft shell crabs were absolutely delicious. The lime sauce with the steamed fish was sensational, and we enjoyed the fried fish as well. The staff were very friendly and efficient. It is an open air restaurant, and we enjoyed viewing monitor lizards in the river from a distance. We hope to return soon!

Good, fresh and affordable seafood dinner. Shop opens only at 6pm daily. Very friendly and attentive service. Great for a group dinner, as more dishes can be ordered. Nevertheless my husband and I did full justice to the 4 dishes we ordered- crispy fried soft shelled crabs, salted egg squids, grilled prawns and stir fried bean sprouts (taugeh)with salted fish and black mushrooms! Very good dinner!

Nothing I am saying here is going to be different than what other reviewers who gave 5 stars have already said. So I’ll just outlined what we had and how much everything costs.
We had 2 sambal prawns (400g), 3 garlic Tiger prawns (300g), 1 grilled prawns (200g), 1 butter fried prawns (200g), rice and kangkung belacan. 2 sprites, 1 Tiger beer and a lime juice. So, almost 2.5 lbs of prawns, rice and a veggie dish and everyone got a drink. All were great, we’d order every single one again. Total bill RM 139 = $35. (See photos)
We already plan on going back for dinner to order the same items tomorrow night.
EXCELLENT place to have a seafood dinner!!

Great food with reasonable price. Got to be there early, like 6pm otherwise may have to wait in queue. Not many tables inside (maybe 10). Must order the salted egg squid and the cereal prawn. The waiter called 'Ah Tun" is very helpful and friendly - they will know how to advise you on the food.

The restaurant had less people now compared to its heydays. I remembered the long queues. Nevertheless, the crowd was still there and the kitchen was busy as usual. We ordered the lime fish, butter prawns, seafood fried bihun and fried oyster omelet.
I was quite disappointed by the serving because I was expecting the fish to be sour and spicy but it came out to be a little on the sweet side. We wanted to order the lala fried bihun but they do not have that; instead, the waiter suggested seafood fried bihun but the bihun had gravy despite being told it would be dried. The fried oyster was also strange. We were expecting the usual fried oyster with egg and starch but the batter was more like pancake with no sign of eggs. The only consolation was the prawns which was satisfactory. I am not too sure but maybe this is the Langkawi-style seafood. So, better drop off all expectations and be surprised. The service is good and it is great to see many Muslim friends frequent the restaurant. It felt like true Malaysians enjoying a good meal together. That should be the reason to come to this restaurant.

Chinese seafood restaurant with many Malay customers. Should be halal. Serving beer but was told and must use short beer glass. Can not use the common taller (Chinese tea) glasses for beer. Foods were good and not expensive despite many tourists. Ordered steamed fish (red snapper) in teow chew style, deep fried soft shell crabs, mantis prawns, mix vegetable, oyster omelette, steamed rice x3, Chinese tea, bill RM117. A very popular place. Do expect Q and longer serving time.

Came here twice during our stay. Seafood is fresh, reasonably priced and there's a wide variety to choose from. Steamed fish, salted egg yolk squid and the belacan kangkung is a must order. Food is yummy so look no further for seafood.

Came here to try since it has highest review score. Maybe this is the reason I have high expectations on their food. We ordered teochew steamed red snapper but it doesn't suit our taste bud as it didn't put in sour plum and good salted vegetables. The taste covered by oyster sauce instead. The Kam heong mantis prawn is not that good - lack of fragrance with curry leaves and dried chillies. Stout and Heineken are RM4.50 per can whilst tiger and carlsberg are RM2.50 per can.
