Excellent oasis in the center of Langkawi across from Orkids sea food restaurant.
The humos was fresh and tasty like no other.
The garlic yogurt Excellent as well
The main dishes and sweet pastries also well made, all had a great original flavour.
Highly recommended middle Easter restaurant
Portion are generous
Prices are very affordable
Selection limited but offers the best
Go early, gets crowded around 6 PM on
Enjoy the mint teas and more.
Casual atmosphere.

We arrived at Langkawi on Tuesday 17th March 2020....the day before the unfortunate lockdown and in the evening found this restaurant for our 1st meal. The food is absolutely fabulous, tasty, good size portions and value for money. We ate in the restaurant that night but from the next day Wednesday 18th all the restaurants were unable to offer sit down service......only takeaway.
We returned to the Yasmin for the remainder of our 8 night stay as the staff were so polite and friendly and always gave great service.
During our stay we tried the Arabic salad, half BBQ chicken, BBQ fish, lamb chunks, mixed kebab, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken mandi, and the best lamb moussaka we have ever tasted. The food was cooked while we waited and was very hot, very tasty and cooked to perfection.
I would strongly recommend you eat at this Arabic/Syrian restaurant as all the guys were so friendly and happy to see us every night (including chef) and every dish we ordered was delicious.
Thank you Yasmin for your fantastic hospitality and ensuring we were well fed throughout our 9 day vacation.
Hopefully we will return next year when circumstances will be different to visit other areas of the island that we were unable to do and we will most definitely return to Yasmin.

I dined in the Yasmin Restaurant several times and I liked the food and service very much. I also tried their delivery which was on time and free of charge. The only comment I have is that the prices are a little bit high compared to other restaurants in the same area, especially with the discount offers everywhere; however, the quality of the food is really good and worth a try.

We ate here on our last couple of nights (here for 6) and it was by far the best food we have eaten here in the evening. Also the mango juice was superb (great taste, quality and no ice). Ahmed and his team looked after us really well. The food was melt in the mouth good and so fresh. It came out reasonably quickly too but they gave you time to enjoy your starters and breads so it wasn’t too rushed. We had the same both nights (not something we normally do), but had enjoyed it all so much the night before! Would highly recommend the hummus with meat, taboulleh (they give you lovely fresh flatbreads with them) and the shish kebab/chicken taut(kebab) which comes with chips, side salad, mini topped bread etc and you can ask for rice instead etc. Big portions, delicious. We stayed in Langkawi for 10 days and went to eat their 3 times we liked it so much.
The food is fresh and although the surroundings are not particularly elegant the food truly makes up for it.
You can eat like a king ,have what you don't eat wrapped up to takeaway and it won't cost you a fortune

For us, Yasmin was a little dissapointment. I took fish and my boyfiend took grilled mix. Food was okay, but it was flavorless and the food was quite expensive. Food didn’t take a long time, but the service was poor. We tought this place was overrated.

First time in Langkawi and this was our first meal and we were not disappointed at all..location in a pretty busy bit so it was buzzy..
Food was so tasty and fresh, portions are generous service was really fantastic nothing was too much trouble.
Casual dining, we loved it only issue was we only went once during our stay(sad face…)
We will return!!!!

Good ambience, good food and great service.
The staff was very accommodating with customizing some dishes based on our taste. We had Halabi Lamb Kabab, Lamb Maklouba, Chicken Mandy with Mushroom Soup. We topped these up with mint tea and Sheesha. The lamb was succulent and the Halabi Kabab came with a delicious tomato based gravy.
Good for a casual visit with friends and family. The place is also kid friendly.

This restaurant is realle super , we spend 5 days in Langkawi and we come back two times. We tried almost all the dishes, the staff is super kind and follow carefully the customers. My favourite dish have been masala with lumb, but I repeat everything is super tasty. You must trie!!!

Authentic Syrian food. Perfect for vegetarians. Fresh healthy and tasty meals, quick service but can tell not rushed. Perfect to share are try salads and dips, not too oily and nice fresh flavours and spices. Fresh warm pita too! Good for price.

I use to dine or get take out at Yasmine once a week. Normally get a spread of greens and Lamb Chops for mains.
The food is generally great, but after the 3rd occasion of delivering poor quality lamb chops I'm going to have a break to build up my tolerance again.

Yasmin is definitely the best of the Arabic (and specifically Syrian) restaurants that have sprung up in the Chenang area. The ambiance and decor is fairly upmarket, and the place is deservedly popular. One often has to wait a short time for a table; we were lucky to be seated immediately.
As to be expected with Arabic food, the menu is meat heavy when it comes to mains, but there there is sufficient variety amongst the mezze dishes to keep us two vegetarians happy. We ordered a Greek salad, baba ganoush, hummus, and tabouleh, served with flatbread of course, which were all nicely presented and very tasty. I loved the pomegranate seeds with the dips, and the large amount of parsley in the tabouleh - delicious. We also enjoyed the lemon mint drink which was refreshing and went well with the food.
Service was very charming and courteous, certainly of a much higher professional standard than in most places in the area. Prices are not the cheapest, but very reasonable for the standard of food served. Our meal was MYR122 before tip. Worth a visit!

This place, to put it simply, is highly recommended. We walked in on a Friday afternoon at around 3 pm and we were greeted by a pleasant waiter.
All our orders were taken and we soon got our appetizers and then followed by the main dishes. The service was excellent and they had anything and everything available in the menu despite the timing.
The food was delicious! The kebabs, the breads, and the salads were all good! We finished everything……
I recommend you try the appetizer platter and the kebab platter…. It has the right amount of portions to taste the variety that’s available…..

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant! Amazing tasty food at a great price. One of the owners- Alaa, always looks after us, helps us with takeaways etc. have been known to eat here every day when I visit langkawi.
Recommend the falafel wraps, hummous, fresh bread, chicken, vine leaves. Basically eberythjng I’ve tried has been amazing!

Had the Lamb Kebab and Lemon Mint juice..both items were very nice. Portion size is also good and they give some fries with the kebab
They also have very good hummus and falafel
Resteraunt is at prime end of Cenang Beach..always a bit crowded but you do get a seat
Would strongly recommend if you are looking for middle Eastern food..
