This place was busy when we arrived, menu was as expected easy to understand. Order a few small dishes and had a couple of beers. There was a TV playing very loudly which no one was watching which did spoil the place. The food was of a good standard when it arrived and very tasty. Staff were reasonably efficient but... More

Went to this sea food restaturant Jan 2017 for dinner. The cups and utensils was smeared with roach smell .Despite changing them the roach smell was still there.Apparently this outlet is pretty aged now and is typically roach infested.

This is our 2nd night in Kuah. we tried something last night but that was a mainly muslim restaurant and Beer (or any alcohol) they didn't even want to understand. Out of experience we know that for a drink you have more chance at a Chinese restaurant so here we went and finished up at Rootian Seafood restaurant. 4 different... More

Very good food but just waited quite a while for a table and for food to be cooked and served. All the dishes were fantastic. Especially the fried butter tiger prawns, curry chicken and the braised pork knuckle!

As four of us came out from Langkawi to Kuah at about 9pm, so we give up driving to Teo Seafood for dinner and pick Rootian which is just located nearby where we shop, Coco Valley. Food tasted very very nice at low prices. 7 dishes cost us RM 162 including beverages and rice. This would be the restaurant that... More

This is a good local restaurant with tasty food at reasonable prices if you want to get away from the Hotels for a change. We had the steamed fish and sweet & sour with some local vegetables. It is a typical local Malaysian eatery local next to the main roads so don't expect luxury. Make sure you sit under a... More

Located on a corner in Kuah, this was an impromptu stop for dinner and a few beers. Staff all very friendly and accommodating, and drinks prices reasonable. Food was very good, especially the steamed fish, but prices a little on the high side for Langkawi. Other than that it was very good, and clearly quite a popular place.
