When my daughter will grow up and eventually she will marry a mechanic, I will ask him to be the chef to Chez Sami: he will certainly cook better. Gone the time with always fresh fish, gone the perfect fattouch salad famous in all Lebanon, gone most of the historical clients. My family too, gone!!!

Well, there are no surprises. Good Lebanese mezze with fresh ingredients. Fresh fish to your choice, but a little overpriced. The service is adequate. And that's it ... you would expect more uniqueness from a restaurant that is renowned to be the best fish restaurant in Lebanon.

One of the best seafood restaurants in lebanon. Food is delicious, service is attentive, view is fantastic! We have tried almost everything. We were a party of 10 over lunch. Always keep some space for the desserts esp. their homemade Halawa! Superb. Distance: From beirut - Hamra area, driving to chez Sami would be around 40 minutes on a Saturday.... More

Do not miss a lunch or dinner at Chez Sami whenever you are in Lebanon, many tried to compete and many others are good too But Chez Sami remains in a class of its own way above the rest. On the terrace if the weather permits, in the beach area in Summer and indoors in the no smoking area ig... More

Wonderful setting. Fresh seafood presented at entrance so that you choose which fish you wish to have served. Fish very well prepared - particularly the small local sultan brahim (not sure I got that right - small red fish). Otherwise usual lebanese mezze of good quality. Service very good

Though expensive, but it remains the best fish restaurant. Better to go when the terrace is open. Food and service are always up to expectations. Recommended for Lebanese fish cuisine.

It just isn't worth going there. The place is overpriced and food is not that special. They don't have anything that you can't make yourself at home. Also we went on a Sunday and was overcrowded and very loud to the point it became annoying. When u try to promote a taverna concept and crowd 500 people in one place,... More
