It was our first, ordering and paying for ramen thru a vendo. I made the fortunate mistake of ordering extra noodles (since I thought paying more meant a bigger bowl). Even with the lack of English instructions, I eventually figured out how to order the extra noodles. The ramen itself was heavenly and worth every yen. This was an awesome... More

Definitely my favourite chain of Ramen. Love the efficiency of buying the ticket at the machine and ability to choose the flavour and strength of the soup base

The restaurant is like a fast food style ramen shop, queue up outside and choose and pay for your food at a automated kiosk at the entrance. There are about 20 seats and queue can get long at times. HOWEVER, this is definitely worth the wait! The ramen was fabulous and the broth was delicious! The soup is of natural... More

The Ramen is so good and easy to order, really impressed by the way of design in the blocks for single customer. The waiters are kind and willing to serve at their best. But should decide the time to arrive, at the lunch and dinner times will be crowded and have to wait for long.

This is a salary man style ramen joint. Very enjoyable acceptable ramen. Go in, eat, get out. The process is fairly simple. First go to the vending machine at the door and buy your ramen and sides (there is only one flavour of ramen, but you can get a noodle top up). Second, find a seat. Effectively one person stalls,... Very interesting place with much history of cooking original Nagoya ramen. Authentic atmosphere, very rich taste of broth, delicious noodles and plenty of flexibility to tailor your own dish. Highly recommended!

I went there last night for my first meal in Nagoya. It was the best ramen I've eaten in Japan. Friendly service and even an English menu which helped with ordering my custom meal. Great.

One of the better Ramen I've had in Japan. Cool options available but only a few dishes. Confusing seating.

This Ramen-Ya comes up first when you ask Google for the best Ramen in Nagoya. Easy to figure that I would check it out. I arrived at 10:45 in the morning, so it wasn’t open long, but already had a few customers sitting there. Since they seem to be quite famous, they had all things printed on the vending machine...
