This was one highlight of our three weeks in Vietnam. We met up with our daughter who we had not seen for six months and this venue enhanced an already special evening. Located between Hoi An ancient town and An Bang beach we caught a short cab a couple of quid. Placed in a relaxed rural setting amongst the family's... More

Amazing class :) ! We did the 5pm class with 3 others from Germany and I loved it! Myself and my partner enjoyed all the food we made (Vietnamese salad, spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes and lemongrass chicken). My partner who does not like fish sauce (it was in most of the dishes) was apprehensive to taste the salad at first... More

We stopped by this place as it was close to our hotel and the reviews all read pretty well and we were not disappointed. There was a cooking class going on too which seemed fun and all the food coming out smelled delicious our meals included! We ordered 2 starters of spring rolls and Vietnamese crepe which the lovely young... More

....By another better cooking school in Saigon (HCM Cooking School). Although we appreciated the pick up and meeting this adorable family and the stunning farm surroundings, we were not exposed to a full cooking experience. Rather we made some of the salad and made and cooked the spring rolls.... but we didn't get to cut banana flower, make the sauces,... More

Mr. Victor is a qualified chef with over 20 years experience. We were lucky enough to be the only two booked in for a morning cooking class. It's in Hoi an but away from the hustle and bustle, you have the beautiful veggie gardens all around and chooks making their way through while you receive expert advice and a great... More

Loved this restaurant! We visited out of season so there was nobody else in, but the service and the food we received was amazing. If we could give this more than 5 for the overall rating we would! The cocktails were the best we have had in Vietnam with ingredients being grown in the garden. The food was all cooked... More

My wife and I have just enjoyed the best meal in Hoi An, having been here for 5 days on this visit and 7 earlier in the year. A delightful setting, the freshest of ingredients prepared to our individual tastes by the chef proprietor, the balanceoif flavours is perfection. Add to that, 3 beers, 1 cocktail, water, 2 starters, 2... More

I visited the Kumquat 2 nights ago .. it was relaxing, the staff charming and the food excellent..I particularly liked the local Hoi Ann rolls and a fish dish with passion fruit sauce. The ice cream tasted home made. Great value and some of the best food I've tasted in Vietnam , which is really saying something as the food... More

Description
Kumquat creates Vietnamese BBQ cuisine with personal style, using local ingredients and both ancient as well as modern culinary technique as its point of departure. We seek continuous improvement; thus our menu is in a state of permanent reinvention. The traditional and the contemporary blend in our dishes. The goal is unforgettable taste that strikes a chord of memory and celebrates Vietnamese cooking’s extraordinary ingredient variety.Essential national cuisine combines with new proposals that maintain deep Vietnamese roots. We believe the best way to preserve the nation’s rich gastronomic legacy is to look at it through the lens of the present and discover every new meaning—and possibility—that lies within. Our goal is to deliver an ambiance, service and cuisine that speaks of who we are and where we are located, the vegetable village of the countryside of Hoi An Ancient Town. The Kumquat menu changes frequently to highlight the best products from Tra Que Vegetable Village and Seafood from Cu Lao Cham Island.Dinning under the star in our special outdoor space, with a wind-bell pendulous, best tune of the music and famous drink named Kumquat Caipirinha one of our special cocktail. As you enjoy meal, the soft breeze will drift over you with the sounds and herb flavor smells of our garden and delicious food passionately prepared for you at the charcoal oven. The perfect place to gather with family and friends! Our menu proposes a selection of Hoi An Cooking Class’s traditional recipes but also contemporary dishes from Kumquat’s kitchen that allows us to share with you some of their culinary secrets. Of course no MSG are used.
