What a lovely place to stop for a break amid the hustle and bustle of the old town. Tea was wonderful and the cookies were great tasting.

We had stopped by for a cup of tea and stayed there for a 3 and a half hours. I don't remeber when was the last time I had enjoyed my tea as much as I did in this teahouse. Sign language, perfect service and silence makes it perfect. I don't use word perfect very often-but this place just earned... More

Wonderful and serene place to relax and have an excellent cup of tea. The servers are all deaf, and ordering is done with menus and small labeled wooden blocks. The proceeds of the sale go to help the deaf community. The tea choice is varied and delicious.

My boyfriend & I read the reviews for this tea house. We love drinking tea. The service was great & unique, the tea was tasty & the cookie treats were savory. The cause for this tea house is a great reason to support their cause of providing work for those with hearing disabilities. I love the cuteness of the place... More

They offer a range of tea, coffee and snack set. I have ordered a tea n coffee platter, they use traditional way of dip method to make the coffee, a good way to taste good coffee from different parts of the world.

Stopped off at Reaching Out Tea House following a search on TripAdvisor for somewhere to chill out and read. The tranquility hits you as soon as you walk in the door, so do the smiles of the staff. The tea I ordered was served beautifully and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Not the most comfortable of chairs for... More

Description
The Reaching Out Teahouse, a second location for our social enterprise, was created because we wanted to share authentic Hoi An (which means peaceful meeting) through the tradition of drinking tea and coffee with friends and visitors. Tranquility is assured in our ancient house furnished with antiques. Our servers are all speech and hearing impaired and the joy of silence is reflected throughout the experience. Customers enjoy the high quality of our teas and coffees as well as the gracious service. All of our tableware is hand crafted in the style of the imperial families of Hue and is available at our workshop and retail store a two-minute walk from the teahouse. In addition to ceramics, we feature embroidered tablecloths and unique accessories. Fair trade operating principles ensure that our disabled artisans and servers receive fair wages and work under safe conditions. We invite you to experience our teahouse and to let us know about your experience. We learn to make improvements to our products and services through customer feedback and good reports encourage others to find their way to our shop to enjoy the silence.
