Yesterday we decided to try this place for a third time. Previous ones were just O.K. at best and we thought that it was just a fluke. Not so ! The General Tao was floating in a dark sauce covered with big pieces of mostly...raw onions and the peanut dumplings were served as if they had opened a jar of PB and just spread a thick layer on the dumplings. It sat there with the consistency of gelatin. We did not finish any of it. The crispy noodles (way too much liquid) were fine as were the egg rolls although cold. For $50 bucks we could have had much better fast food. Anyway, you live and learn but we really do not recommend the food...More

We were recommended to Bao Han and were not disappointed. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. Dishes were explained by Phi to help us make the right choice and try some authentic Vietnamese food, all turned out to be delicious. We were in hoi an in February /March. And visited Bao Han on several occasions. The food was excellent, and all of the staff were friendly, and very helpful. Phi the owner treated everyone like family members. She operates a no like no pay policy,...but I never saw anyone not pay. When you order a meal your rice is free, and free fruit or coconut icecream afterwards.. If you visit Cua Dai a visit to Phi has to be on the agendaMore
