The beautiful fireplace and delicious coffee made my boyfriend and I feel at home cozy after a long trip. Highly recommend it .

While this restaurant has a quite impressive decoration in pretty local style, its food is at best average and left us nothing impressed. We love its cleanliness and well organized place but the service is slow and the local food served has no interesting taste and flavor. The location is very small as well.

That was the worst restaurant i've been in for 2 weeks i spent in Uzbekistan. Poor ketchup instead of sauce, small rations, bad quality. Avoid that place.

Old City was the poorest restaurant we ate at in a month of travel in Central Asia. The setting is nice, the service acceptable. The chairs are instruments of torture. The meat was inedible, gristly and fatty. Rice was ancient. And overpriced. We stopped at a shop on the way back to our hotel and bought Snickers bars.

This is a cosy place with waitors performing excellent service. We came in for dinner and were served a lam dish cooked in alu foil together with a pleasant choise of vegetables, salads and bread were on the table. What a taste of that lamb dish, it was tender, juicy and savory. Old City Restaurant had an extensive selection of... More

Portions were ridiculously small for the price paid. Rice was ice cold (they forgot to warm it up). It took them 45' to prepare a shisha (waterpipe), so that the restaurant was about to close by the time I could start smoking it. I paid about 50 000 UZS for 1 person (which is a lot of money in Uzbekistan),... More

We had a large plate of tasty looking plov here for dinner. Dotted with quail eggs, we eagerly dug in. It was a bit oily, but some of that is understood. My memories of this place are unpleasant because I had a rough night with a stomach ache. Turns out I was not the only one and we modified our... More

Ask for kebabs as that was the best here. the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and do suggest us with what best here. Easy excess and parking space nearby.

Although at the time when we arrived at the restarurant the power went down, the owner made us feel comfortable with the fireplace and candles for lunch! The lamb meal was great.
