Happy people serving happy food! Decent prices, good sized portions and yummy deserts. Went in for coffee and deserts after having a horrible meal elsewhere earlier, and it totally saved my day! Just by smelling the food in the place and looking at other peoples...More

Very nice atmosphere. The food is very good, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the coffee we had after lunch and the live music. Two musicians were playing Brazilian bossa nova which contributed to the charm of this restaurant.

Came across El Drugstore when ambling through the historic neighbourhood on a chilly afternoon. What a find! A really warm inviting welcome and tip top friendly attention. We had delicous fresh mussells in garlic and fried squid and a portion of rustic fried potatoes washed...More

The first time I had a meal in this restaurant was probably in 1998. Yes, that long ago. I suppose I didn't know any better back then, but I used to love this place. Fast forward to 2017...the place still looks the same (sort of),...More

This place is a little shocking to the senses when you first step inside, but it's eclectic atmosphere makes it a delight. The staff was really friendly and helpful (even when our toddler had a meltdown). The food we ordered was good, but nothing spectacular....More

We had a fantastic lunch on the terrace outside. Food is good and prices are decent, but the most special thing about this restaurant is definitely it's beautiful interior and it's lovely decoration, including an old-timer car as part of the outside dining options!

Incredible atmosphere, incredible food, fantastic decor. Top recommendation. Called in for a light midday snack and wasn't disappointed. On another visit I'd recommend sitting in the vintage car outside for that added quirkiness

We were ignored, then once we got attention were treated like 2nd class citizens. Food - below average having eaten in plenty of places in Uruguay and Argentina. Service - abmisal. Seriously, go somewhere else!

Stayed in Colonia for 3 nights and ate here once. The kitchen is part of the restaurant so you can see the chefs preparing and cooking the food. Staff very helpful. Opted for the beefsteak with rustic potatoes which was lovely. My husband had the...More

If you plan to visit Colonia in a day trip, dont come here as you will spend your day waiting to get food.
