I've tried almost all the fish restaurants in izmir and this is absolutely the best one. There is no doubt meze is MEZE here. Try 'tranca' fish if its the right season. Raki has a new friend :)

The meze's were very vey fresh and tasty as was the fish. The fish selection was vast, and the chef cooked the fish perfectly. Prices here are more reasonable compared to the other more flashy restaurants. Book well ahead at the weekends if you want a table out in front on the street (better to sit outside than inside to... I live in near Kordon area and I have been in all the restaurants. I'm have been going here since the openning. They are serving very good and they did not change the quality. You must try the mix salad which is the best one I have ever eaten in a fish restaurant in Izmir. Calamari is the second thing... More

I was there for a dinner during a business trip @Izmir. My impression unfortunately is not very good: octopus was too cooked and resulted very hard to eat. I tasted also a swordfish (or a sort of!) and was better. They do not serve sparkling wine (such as prosecco, or similar wine) and is a pity considering is a fish... More

This restaurant is one of the most popular fish restaurants on Kordon area. You can try a dozen of mezzes and very fresh sea food from Eagean .Mostly very crowded in the evening . Try Seabass or Laos Yaka which they make very traditionally and deliviciously grilled .Try regional wines. Service is quick if you know what to order exactly... More

I was brought to this fish restaurant by a colleague, native of Izmir. Every plate was freshly prepared, I suggest the saksuka (eggplants in tomato sauce) and the antapot (octopus in olive oil and black pepper). I also recommend other dishes such as yoghurt with eggplant, fried calamari or a delicious grilled seabass. All dishes are accompanied by a traditional... More

Good balance between fresh and tasty seafood on the one hand, and resonable price on the other. There are for sure a lot more fancy alternatives in this town which is a real paradise for seafood lovers, but this one guarantees a fairly large of variety of basic, yet tasty and fresh seafood at very reasonable cost. Its location on... More
