My travel companions were too tired to go out so I ventured out to look for take away. There were many food options in the square but a quick look at the menu made me decide to took no further as they had plenty of variety and reasonable prices. Han Ciragan doesn't normally do take away they but saw my... More

We came here for an early dinner, around 6pm, so it was almost empty and we had great service. The food was delicious as was the local wine (TURASAN). The restaurant is next to a wine tasting room for local wines. If we had more time in Urgup, would definitely come back.

Nice place for dinner. We paid 300 Tl (app. 100 €) for three people including a bottle of wine. They have a rich menu and you can try Turkish traditional foods.

We ended up eating at this restaurant twice because the experience was pretty good in spite of some poor recent reviews. We learnt about a couple of dishes"Lamb in Orange" and "Sucuk with lemon and tomato" they were both really good. The service was also pretty attentive although we did have to hunt for a waiter to get the bill... More

This restaurant is centrally located just off the city centre complex. My wife and I were somewhat kebabbed out at this point of our holiday so given that the restaurant had a favourable review in Lonely Planet, and they had grilled salmon and sea bass available, we thought we’d give it a try. The larger section of the restaurant has... More

For the first time in my life, i was forced to leave a place. We went there right after my friend have proposed to his girlfriend. There were no waiters around for 30 mins. The waiter swore at my friend and the owner backed up the waiter. Then he asked us to leave. No ethics, no biz mind.

Now, if you never had good Turkish food and do not know what it should taste like then you may be fooled by this place. the meet in my saç tava was so bad, I could not swallow some of the bites. The hummus was a disaster and the famous pastırma of the region, likewise. Only the lamb leg was... More

After a long day of touring through Cappadocia, we dined at Han Ciragan Restaurant. I ordered the testi kabob which I shared with my wife. Our friend ordered the mixed grill. We also ordered a bottle of the local wine. We found the food to be very tasty, the wine was nice, and the service was excellent. A great choice... More

We went there in January and this restaurant saved us. At winter time, it is not the touristic season and because of this, there was just a few available restaurants to eat something. Also we liked their kitchen so much and the building was also a traditional one. We tried traditional pottery kebab and it was so tasty.
