Cafe safak was a great little spot to have a nice cheap snack. We stopped here for fresh orange juice and baklava several times during our stay in Goreme. There was a slight language barrier with the waiter but he easily understood what we wanted if we used the menu. Everything was very tasty and refreshing. Just what we needed... More

Food does not appear to be home cooked. I ordered an Adana sandwich and the lamb definitely appears to be from frozen package. The male server (young kid) also lied about the origin on their Baklava and claimed the Baklava is from Gullouglu. When confirmed from his mother, she denied. He wanted me to buy a box of baklava. Tasty food, good value. My wife and I enjoyed eating here. Pot of Turkish tea for 10tl is great value. We had 10 cups out of it.

We visited on our first full day in Goreme. The cafe is nice and shaded so we sat outside. Our waitress was a lovely Swiss lady- we didn't get your name, sorry! The gozleme was delicious and we had to have some baklava because it looked to good to pass up. A great place for lunch and really nice atmosphere-... More

Best manti we have ever had. The quality was amazing due to it being homemade. The service was great from a lovely family business. Also a great place to get a decent coffee in turkey. Thanks guys. 😉
