AMAZING and sooo worth the wait in line!!! No. 6 was recommended by a tour gauide and she was not lying...it did not disappoint. So glad we made the trek from our resort (about 35 min) to have dinner at No. 6! We definitely plan...to go again on our next visit!More

There is always a queue at no 6 and there is a reason for this. The food is fabulous and great value. We have been previously and returned expecting another great street restaurant food experience, but after 30 minutes we still had not been served...the food we had ordered and there was no apology for this. We ended up sharing the food from a group next to us who had ordered too much, so we did get fed, but it was chaotic and extremely disappointing.More

Nothing fancy at all, a small place with shared tables and bench seats, but good flavorful authentic food. Do not be intimidated by the waiting line, it will move fast. My only recommendation is to skip the spring rolls as it wasnt crunchy as i...would expect itMore

We have dined at the hilltop restaurant each visit to Phuket and enjoyed the food as we have over the years. We visited on 29 February and the food and service was good so we decided to return this evening and booked a table with...a view. Sadly based on this experience we won’t return. The food was the worst we have ever eaten in Patong. It was tasteless with no spice and we had requested spicy. The green curry was like water with something green and some chicken thrown in. It would have been obvious to any staff who bothered to look we were not happy with the food as much of it was left on the table. The diners as the table behind ours also left most of the food untouched. Certainly not worth the trip up the hill.More

I went there for lunch went I arrived in Patong, waited for 10 minutes and I have ordered coconut ton yum kung and a fried noodle. Ton yum kung is delicious, coconut is not spicy and tasty. Then I went to the No.6 hill top...the other night. It was a fantastic experience. food is as good, atmosphere is serene, surrounded by tree and plant, and I can see the night view of Patong, you can arrange free shuttle from the No.6 Patong restaurant.More

Amazing food, we returned several times throughout our holiday. The food is always very tasty and so cheap - don’t be put off by having to sit by other people, the food is delicious!

Awesome food. Very reasonable prices. Best food in patong. Also have the option of eating at their other no.6 restaurant at the top of the hill. Transport provided by the restaurant for free.

We went for lunch, food came out quickly and was very good. It’s busy and you do have to line up but we waited less than 10 mins. Excellent value for money.

Popped in for an earlyish dinner at 5:30pm and avoided the queues that start from around 6pm onwards. Over-ordered not realising how big the dishes are but ended up clearing the plates because everything was so tasty. Enjoyed the recommended No.6 chicken wings which are...very good and nicely ‘sticky’ and the Tom Yung Goong which went down very well with prawn fried rice, Som Tam Thai Goong and stir-fried morning glory. Washed down with a big Singh and Coconut all for bout 750 baht or £17. All the tables were full and this restaurant has queues every evening running down the street so is well known for great food. If you can’t wait the restaurant next door is also good but I think No.6 has the edge. Many of the tables are the longer bench style but with plenty of room so it doesn’t feel overcrowded.More

True authentic amazing Thai food! Visit here every time we come. You know it’s good just by how packed it is and the line waiting. Worth the wait, and the prices are super cheap!

Recommended to us by a really nice taxi driver after the place we tried to visit was closed. Queued for 15 mins to get in, a very good sign. We weren't disappointed. Best spring rolls I've ever had, the prawns were super fresh and crunchy...and the Tom Yum was out of this world. More than 3 of us could eat for 1100 Baht with drinks and excellent service. Most dishes are available small medium or large. Be warned even the small dishes are very generous. We will definitely be coming back.More

Confirm the positive reviews about the place. Very good food, not expensive. The location is at the main street. You will see a sign above the sidewalk. You can ask locals for directions.

You can get your hotel concierge to help you or if you are on the streets, there are many tuks tuks plying freely. However, you need to lookout for overcharging. So maybe check up the cost with your hotel concierge first.
