Very tasty Indian food just a minute's walk from Beach Road.

This is probably as close to a British Indian restaurant that I've tried in Thailand. There were 3 of us out for dinner and we had the poppadoms and pickles to share while waiting on our food and they were very tasty. We ordered a portion of Chicken tikka, a Lamb Vindaloo and a Butter Chicken as well as some rice and Garlic Naan Breads. The Tikka was excellent and very tender. The Naan Breads were also excellent with a very light weight, a light crisp to the edge and a nice little chew to them. The waiter asked how spicy we wanted our curries and we told him we like them pretty spicy but not far too spicy. The Vindaloo could have done with being a bit spicier and the Butter Chicken was just a tiny bit too sweet. We will know what to ask for the next time we are in as we would order both dishes again. The staff were very friendly and attentive and were always on hand if we needed anything like extra drinks or plates.

Lunch at a fairly reputable curry restaurant in Patong. I ordered chicken biryani, butter chicken curry, naan, Tiger beer, lassie and more. There is a Japanese-speaking staff called Tip who is cute and nice. My wife is not good at spicy food, so I asked her to reduce the spiciness of both biryani and curry, but I think medium is fine if you like spicy food. If you ask for spicy food not to be spicy, it often tastes silly, but instead it's tasty, which is what makes this place so appealing.

Another restaurant in Thailand that does not appear to understand the concept of starter and main course and so our onion bhajis (which were excellent) came with our mains. Tip: if ordering a ‘starter’ anywhere, specify to the serving staff that you want it first and then a 10 minute wait until the next course. Our curries weren’t bad, my lamb saag just edging my wife’s tikka masala as the favourite dish. Good portion of rice and garlic nan was delicious! Most expensive meal of my trip so far.

Far too Salty to eat

Visited on our holiday last week - this meal was terrible - it was so salty we had to leave it ! Had starters they were deep fried and also too salty awful. The main was worse.. chicken tikka masala they recommend we don’t ! We paid and left as didn’t want to cause a scene. On a positive the yellow rice was fantastic and the house wine was also good. This place should not get the high reviews I think it does as staff were asking people to do this on QR code ..

Whilst staying in Patong, the Resturant caught our eye as it was well presented and looked busy. We decided to visit the Resturant and received a very warm welcome from the staff. The menu had many offerings and after decided our selection of Indian food, the food was served on time and as ordered. The food was what I can only call brilliant, very tasty and we enjoyed every. Dish we had. Defiantly recommend this Resturant if you are staying in Patong and enjoy Indian food.

We walked in this Indian restaurant. The vibe was great and food was delicious. I would only recommend that tge service can improve slightly. As we placed order and asked for main to come after we finished the starter bit it arrived and was not served straight away and the chicken went cold slightly. It was reheated.

Don't believe the reviews, it's just not tasty. We spent 1,800 baht for two, ordered a lot of things, but there was nothing tasty, zero. Well, okay, it was. The cocktails were delicious. The food is just the bottom. They took all the spice know-how. As a result, it’s either still spicy or tasteless. Chicken kebab is dry, not grilled. The chicken salad is tasteless, the chicken in it is the same as on kebab. Springrolls are tasteless. Flatbread with Mega spicy puree, even though they asked for nous spice. The biggest disappointment is the lamb cutlets. In theory, cutlets are made either from minced meat or minced meat. Here they were cutlets made from pasta with unknown contents and a terrible color. Disgusting.

Amazing Indian Food!!!

This Indian restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the food to the service it was a wonderful experience. We were 3 Indian couples vacationing in Thailand. The ladies are all vegetarian and us gents eat mostly everything. Anyways the ladies were having some difficulty with food while we were in Thailand and wanted to go to an Indian restaurant so I find this place on a Google search and it did not disappoint. Special shoutout to our waitress, Laxmi, she provided excellent service to us. The chicken manchow soup is on point as well as all the other dishes that we ordered, and we ordered a lot. One of the best meals we had while we were in Thailand. Make sure you try this place out once you finish walking down Bangla Road.

We ate one evening at Tandoori Flames. Correct welcome, soulless terrace. The menu is rich in Indian dishes. We ate fish amritsari and chicken korma. While the chicken was quite tender and tasty, the fish was a little dry. The naan is delicious. We had to wait a long time to get our food. And the prices are very expensive compared to other Indian restaurants without being better in terms of quality. In short, a mixed experience which did not make us want to come back.

I bought it for the third and last time. They don’t cook because in India the guys don’t have the same food at all and the check is twice as high as the standard one. Very good place for Indian food. The staff is great and friendly. Cocktails are good and they have some good white wines. The food is delicious. We tried many dishes as we went three times there and everything was perfectly cooked. Prices are low and make this place even more attractive for people on a tight budget.

Decided to visit based on the reviews. The food was amazing and so was the service. It was a lovely experience until we got the bill and saw there is a 10% VAT charge that no one mentions. We ordered a bottle of wine along with entrees' and main courses, so our bill was quite high compared to a normal Patong dining experience. When I questioned the waiter as to why there was an extra charge and it's not a hotel, he just said it was the owner who put it on. Very disappointed because this left a sour note and meant we would not return. Also, being charged just over $250 baht for a VAT charge and then expected to leave a tip is not right.

From the moment we walked in we were well looked after by the staff who were a nice mixture of attentive and friendly. The owner also had a chat to us and we felt very welcome. The food was outstanding and they even gave us extra of their home made green spicy sauce which was my husband’s favourite sauce ever. Great Indian restaurant. Make sure to visit if you are in Patong

Beautiful food and perfect service. A nice restaurant with a few tables downstairs and plenty more upstairs. Staff were attentive and friendly and owner came to check everything was served correctly. Between us we had bhajis, tandooori chicken pieces, chicken vindaloo chicken padathan (?) basmati rice and naan, all came with condiments and our daughter had half a pineapple filled with fried rice and prawns, all dishes were excellent and we managed to eat the lot! We were both stuffed and obviously had to wash it down with a couple of large heinekens and a mocktail for daughter the menu is large and varied with all types of meats and veggie options. it is a bit pricey compared to local Thai places, but you can tell the quality in the ingredients, for all of the above cost us around $80 australian.
