I live in thailand and visited this restaurant now several times to try out new dishes. We absolutely love it. The pomelo salad is to die for and every dish we have tried has been awesome. Some live music, coconut ice cream and good coffee makes me give this place a well deserved 5 stars.

Really fresh, crisp spring rolls. Delicious! Also the group had Pho and curries. Service was smooth. An enjoyable lunch.

We have visited several times over the last 2-3 years and have always been impressed with the menu and quality of the food. The Vietnamese spring rolls and the chicken satay are excellent. The burrito (chicken) needs a good appetite and the salmon in teriyaki sauce is my wife's favourite. Arrive between 5 and 7 and enjoy two cocktails for... More

The restaurant has good food and live music, but we were pretty much left on our own. No one greeted us and get our own menus, the waitress had to be flagged down as she never stopped by our table. Aside from cooking the meal, we were left to fend for ourselves.

Came for dinner here just after Christmas. Food was tasty and there was a large and varied menu. The guitarist/singer that was playing that night was genuinely excellent and that is the main reason for posting this review. Service was unfortunately not to the same standard. Not normally someone who gets stressed about service but it did get quite comical... More

Went out with family who live locally and know the Mekong well. They had chilli con carne, a firm favourite, we had Vietnamese summer rolls, minced pork in rice crepe and one other dish I can't name or describe well! All the food was excellent, well presented and service was wonderful. If time allows a return will be necessary, if... More

We chose Cafe Mekong for our last night in Hua Hin to catch up with our friends. We were all very happy with the night we shared. The restaurant is well presented with outside dining and also have inside dining with AC. They also have a bar area at the front of the cafe if you wish to sit and... More

Beef pho broth tastes like it came out of a can or French onion soup packet. Noodles were pasta noodles instead of rice noodles and I didn't even try the beef bc it didn't look good. I can't speak for anything else bc that was all I ordered. Not the place for pho.

With our friends we had dinner at Mekong's Cafe. After a few weeks of Thaifood we tried the fagitas chicken which was very good. Our frinds enjoyed a salmon spaghetti and Argentina steak. Also they were ery happy with their choices. The restaurant itself was not so cosy, a little "straight" but never the less...an addresse to remember.

One of our favourites. It wasn't a surprise, when we heard that this place is from the same guys as the Coco51. Fresh tastes on spring rolls. Mouthwatering pho. I even had to steal some bites from mrs Kumiankkas greek salad. Crispy, fresh, quality feta and olives used, flavoured with fresh herbs. Solid service. Highly recommended.

Thank kumiankka
