A bit more expensive than the average Thai restaurant perhaps, but this Vietnamese restaurant is certainly worth a visit. It’s cosy and a bit different from what you ‘re used to in Thailand. Not the exquisite cuisine you can find in Vietnam, but really good meals. As in Vietnam entrees are usually even better than the main courses, so we... More

The restaurant is situated in what looks a little likes a large old wooden warehouse. This is a very simple establishment with, as others have commented, very quirky decor, but this only adds to the atmosphere. We had lunch here on a Saturday when it was quite busy, mostly with locals, but the service was fine. We thought the food... More

Not easy to find as it is covered by Bougainvillea and does not have the actual name above the door but follow the map, it is accurate and as soon as you see a small Vietnamese restaurant that is it!!. Lovely cheap food, very good service, quick & friendly. decent menu selection but very little English spoken, we had the... More

The food was very good, friendly staff and the place is very authentic with an interesting decoration made of a type of recycled art!

We were there for lunch. They have good choice of thai and vietnamise food. All dishes we have order were tasty and really fresh and staff showed how to eat them. Fried banana with honey was simply delicious. One of the best in Chiang Rai.

Delicious Vietnamese and Northern Thai food. Try the "Nam Ngiew". It'd a special rice noodles done Northern-style in jot and spicy soup with minced pork, vegetables and blood jelly. Does not sound too enticing but it is really tasty. You can ask opt for a non-spicy option as well.

It had excellent Vietnamese cuisine and I would go there again. The atmosphere was also great, somewhat different from other Thai restaurants with high ceilings and lots of stuff gathered around the place.

Good Vietnamese and Thai food. We tried the famous northern Thai soup with cubes of coagulated blood, Vietnamese sausage rolled with vegetables into spring rolls and a kind of satay wrapped in vine leaves. Everything was tasty and the servings were generous. Nothing mind-blowing but definitely recommended.
