The Jangsan area doesn't offer too much in the way of western food. Having lived in Korea for almost 3 years, I knew that Hurdy Gurdy existed and were littered around Korea and offered a selection of western type meals but until now had not...actually eaten there.
The menu reminded me a lot of Seoga & Cook chain that you see all around Korea. Offering up pizza, pasta, risottos and pilaf, Hurdy Gurdy is not too badly priced offering very large portion sizes where the main idea is to share what looks like individual meals. We got a pasta and pilaf lunch set for 23,000KRW which could have fed 3 people, 4 if you're light eaters.
The service was attentive and the meals came out in a timely manner. Was it the most delicious thing I had ever eaten - no, but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I think if I was in the area and wanted some pasta, then I would eat here again. But if I had to drive to get here, I would choose to have pasta elsewhere.More
