this is the best pho place we have ever been to. Have had pho lots of place(nyc, korea,DC,NJ),but this is consistently the best we have tried. Their crispy 1/2 chicken is also superb. Friendly staff and we go every chance when we are near Albany......

Like many who live in Albany, I find Van's the tried and true place to go for great Vietnamese food. I have been to the Van's establishment on Central Avenue many times, and before I visited Van's when the restaurant first opened and was down on Madison Avenue, not from Lombardo's. Van's was outstanding then, and continues operating at a... More

If you like Vietnamese/Thai food then go to Van's! I got the Thai chicken and shrimp and it was out of this world. Coconut curry sauce was light and delicious with just the right amount of spice. My mom ordered crispy duck and it was moist and cooked to perfection. Would also recommend the spring and summer rolls as an... More

The food was amazing! A very unassuming storefront, but it was some of the best pho I've ever had. We also ordered the mussel's, the spring rolls, and the potato curry. Everything was absolutely delicious, the staff was very attentive, and the portions were large. Will definitely be going again!

The friendly staff and amazing food will leave you completely satisfied. The atmosphere on the other hand is rough. But you have to check your opinions at the door and go for the food. They know how to cook, so if you're looking for an authentic experience you can find some very interesting things on the menu.enjoy.

Thought the prices were a bit high, until the plate arrived. Large plate of rice noodles, covered with large sliced grilled chicken breasts. Too much to eat at one siting. Nice flavor and presentation. Asked to waiter about Taro bubble tea. Good food good conversation with a friend I hadn't seen in years. All in all, I'd go again.

We chose Van's because of the on line menu and we were not disappointed. Spring rolls with shrimp were ordered as an appetizer. 4 tightly wrapped rolls with shrimp, cilantro, rice noodles and julienned carrots, cabbage in rice paper with a peanut sauce for dipping were delightful at $6.49. My Shrimp Pho $9.99 came with 4 very large, tender and... More

Have visited half-dozen times.....always well prepared. Pho, salmon, different tofu-based dishes--all very good. Efficient/congenial service.
