Sorry, guys....we won't be back. We normally enjoy the menu, ambiance, and especially the proximity to the theaters, but last night was just a big disappointment, and totally unnerving. We were a party of 6: 2 dinners weren't even luke warm, a third was inedible. We had to ask for the check 3 times in order to be at our... More

What a great night. When you have great friends, great wine, great food, and a beautiful atmosphere you are in what I like to call a state of Zen bliss because it doesn't get any better. Truly a wonderful experience ! Also a wonderful and engaging waitress, who was a dead ringer for Marisa Tomei. She was the added icing... More

It's a small casual restaurant attached Hampton Inn & Suites. While it's not as fancy and expensive as Yono's next door, the food and atmosphere are top-notch! We grabbed dinner there before Twenty One Pilots concert at Times Union Center, and we weren't disappointed. Food was delicious and high-end, and our waiter Jared provided outstanding service.

Don't get me wrong, DP and its sister restaurant,Yonos, are favorite downtown Albany destinations. We have dined many times at the brassiere before Cap Rep or a concert. But our experience before walking over to the Palace for the Albany Symphony concert was a bit annoying. We ordered a Pinot Noir with dinner after downing a very good martini. The... More

Was away on business & ate here. Ended up eating here 2 nights in a row. Worth every bite! Loved the Brussel sprouts with the pork belly! And the short ribs for dinner was a melt in your mouth! The atmosphere was great & service was superb!

Decided to try the DP on my last night in Albany. It is a small, somewhat casual space sharing the same building and kitchen with their high priced sibling Yono's. The menu was limited to just a few entrees but there was a good selection to chose from. The wine list, not ostentatious but varied and reasonably priced by the... More

Somehow it just did not hit the spot despite good friendly staff, it felt congested and was very noisy. Food ok not anything special and rather expensive for what it was. sadly we were a little disappointed.

Went here with a group of 6 girls for a friend's bday. Drinks were great! One of the girls couldn't have alcohol and they had a non-alcoholic bar menu section! She got a "fo-jito," what a great touch! I had the Brussels sprout appetizer...amazing!! Had steak dinner...also amazing!

I had drinks with a colleague before a work function and the bartender couldn't be nicer. He offered us water with our drinks and was friendly. The ambience is quite chic and we enjoyed this experience so we headed back after our work function for dinner. We both ordered the chicken avocado rolls. They were overly spicy yet you couldn't... I went here with my dad for lunch. They were very personable, and accomodating. I tried a coconut creme iced tea, and a fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and was a very pleasant lunch.
