Fantastic beach but can be rough at high tide. You have to walk through the restaurant Chez Julien to have access to the beach. You have to wear T shirt and pareos and stick to the variety of grilled fish.

We stayed here years ago and had experienced the charms of the owners then. This time, we arrived, went straight in to say we would like to have lunch and would it be ok to park and everything was fine. They are a tiny little beach cafe offering simple creole fish or curry only served with rice and green papaya... More

I came here for lunch, having been advised that the cafe on the beach was open for lunch only - I was not aware that it was also open for dinner. It looks just like a small shack, but the food was so tasty that I came back the next day for exactly the same (prawn curry). I was staying... More

We had the benefit of going with a friend of the owner, so we didn't get the chance to test his temper; sounds like fun. We both had whole grilled fish of the day (which was Grouper as t happened), and it was excellent. The accompaniments were, well , meh....steamed rice and creole sauce. The SeyBrew is reliable; pretty good... More

For me the restoraunt has a potential to be in the top of restourants in Seychelles but big but the owner of the place can get the Oscar for the most unpolite person. I was twice here, first time there was 13 of us and he treated us as royal the second time there was 5 of us and he... More

This is a warning!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! We were wandering around the southern side of Mahe island and we wanted to go and see Anse Soleil... There is only one tiny road to reach that beautiful beach and it ends on a dead-end... Unfortunetaly, the end of the road arrives in the property of Julien, the owner of the only... More

Visited this touristy restaurant in August '16. Beware that tour guides will bring you here because they will get a free meal if they show up with clients. The restaurant is totally overpriced (we payed 200 SCR, which is around 14€, for some oily vegetables). The tuna we had was dry and average in taste. Many flies, dirty tables and... More

First time we came here, we had ice cream and drinks. Drinks were expensive but worth it for the beautiful view! Ice cream was delicious and a reasonable price, so would recommend the ice cream. However, on our second time there, we arrived at 4.45 pm for more drinks and ice cream, but were told by the lady that they... More

My partner and I stopped here for lunch on our third day in Mahe. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic!! We both had prawn curry which came with a side of papaya chutney and rice. Thoroughly enjoyed it and with a spectacular view! A visit to this beach is also a must, it's stunning. Also recommend trying... More
