Auberge Shulamit, which is called Ahuzat Shulamit in Hebrew, is the epitome of peace and calm. You can sit on a porch facing tree filled mountains and just soak up the peace and quiet. The restaurant too has a most wonderful view. The hospitality is exceptional. We were greeted with free lemonade and when we wanted to pay for coffee... More

We had a meal here last night. The restaurant is part of a small hotel on the slopes of mount Canaan along the old road to Safed. Seated in the covered balcony you enjoy a good view. (The rooms in the hotel enjoy an even better view) The owner is a very friendly person who knows how to make his... More

I've been here many times and it feels the place is not refreshing itself. The old, traditional antique setting and music doesn't to it anymore. The food is nice but not great. The place needs a refresh in my humble opinion.

We enjoyed the food but overall I think it was overpriced. Service was solid. Salad was plain average.

My wife and i toured the 'Tuscany' of Israel, the Galilee region and found this most wonderful 'auberge' and their world class restaurant. The service was very attentive, including a pleasant chat with owner, but the mind blowing part was the food. We had a delicious beef tartar plus a chicken liver paté as starters followed with an absolutely perfect... More

We had a great meal with extraordinary service at the Auberge. The chicken liver starter was great and the salmon was fabulous.

Very small parking. The old building, very uncomfortable room. A little situation saves the gallery with a view of the valley of Hula and Hermon. The food is very average, but the prices are the same as in the Michelin restaurant. Waiters are always trying to persuade to order the most expensive dishes. Despite their price, the quality and taste... More
