Was in Netanya Thursday evening, and wanted to take my daughter for dinner. The place I knew (Batsal Yarok), having eaten there several times over the years, was sadly gone--so we walked around looking for something else. Spotted Mul HaYam--as the name implies, directly overlooking the sea, on Netanya's Independence Square. Walked over and asked to see a menu. Offerings... More

Four years ago I reviewed this restaurant and gave it 5 stars. I have periodically visited in the intervening years and had no major problems. Last week I took my nephew and family out to eat. I am being generous in giving it 2 stars. (there were a few decent dishes) We started with soup. Two of us had the... More

Friday morning they have an 'all you can eat' buffet brunch which is well worth visiting. The atmosphere is delightful, right over the beach, and the food is plentiful and good. Not cheap but quite reasonably price.

The food is fine but not top notch, prices are affected by the position. The place is spacious but could become quite overcrowded on friday morinings or summer evenings.

Went there with my husband and kids. The place is very much not updated decorated. The waitress was not kind, the background music was very old fashioned. The food was bad! Have nothing good to say...

Went for light meal with friends. Typical Israeli food. Large portions, nicely prepared but served without any panache. We ate outside which was fine but no ambience. This is a place to eat, not to have an eating experience. Not expensive and reasonable value. Handy for town square and the beach. Good for a snack but not an evening out.

My sister and I had a late night dinner at this location. As the Hebrew name suggests, it is right across from the sea, though at night we couldn't actually see the sea. The menu and food are average. My sister had the mushrooms alfredo, which were tasty. I ordered a salmon stir-fry which was so bland that I asked... More

We have eaten here numerous times over the years. The view of the sea and beach, indoor and outdoor seating make it the perfect place for a quick snack or full meal. The food is always good. The menu is typical for Israeli cafes.
