The very best mexican food is served in places that are often described as holes in the wall. The building and the decor are nothing to write home about, but the food will knock your socks off it's so good. La Herradura is one of those spots. We showed up Sunday morning and had tacos for breakfast! Big yumm!! It... More

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. First of all the place looks like a shack. Easy to miss. We had trouble finding a clean table as about ten of them needed to be bussed. Maybe it was a language problem but my wife's order was not correct (no rice and beans) but she said the chili reallanos was... More

Yep - best tacos hands down in this part of New Mexico. Great food and friendly place. Need to get off the beaten path to find it but well worth the search.

There's not much to say other than La Herradura is awesome. Great Mexican food, serving up 100% authentic tacos... very good service, nice value, and fantastic food. I've eaten here several times and always left satisfied.

Taco plate is a must. Barbacoa, Asado, or spicy ground beef. Combination plate is a great choice also. Green chili is better than red chili sauce. Huge sopapillas!

I do not care for Mexican food and I love this out of the way, family run restaurant. The food is homemade and outstanding! I do not know a lot about Mexican food because I avoid it as much as I can, but a colleague of mine took me here once for lunch and I brought my father, who was... More

It is tucked away in a neighbor and we got lost trying to find it.. Not very inviting, maybe good for a local or for a quick stop.

This little gem is in a neighborhood in a warehouse, don't be fooled, feels like you just went across the border for some authentic food. We had chicken tacos and chicken fajitas, only downside we were not offered any chips and salsa before our meal.

Decent place nestled in the middle of a neighborhood. Parking is rough, but usually doable. The food was decent and service fine.
