This was my first time visit to Omah Sinten. I like the taste of garang asem. The soup taste so original. They put it in a bamboo. Combine with a different tipe of "wedangan" made this restaurant unique and special.

A place that attracts locals and tourists - Indonesians and foreigners alike for its relaxed setting next to the "antiques" market and near one of Solo's keratons. The small size of the portions make it possible for most diners, even those with average appetite to find room for one of their classic Javanese deserts. We had loempias as a starter... More

Located in strategic place, this is a local traditional cafe. In here you can enjoy a traditional ambience of Solo, and the fods are tasty. You wont regret visiting this cafe, they all worth every penny you spend.

A whimsical place with a seriously restricted menu. We were served our meal, which was tasty enough but to my shock and horror, nestling within the veggies in the soup was a worm. This is not acceptable Its not a place I am going back to anytime soon.

The best from this restaurant is the decoration. Decorated like the old house of Javanese aristocrats, and a lot of photograph from old times, its a perfect place to have a dinner and make lots of selfie and wefie. Price is ok, not too expensive, and not to cheap either. Only thing I can suggest is the menu is rather... More

I went to solo two times but haven't get the chance to stay in there. So I try to take lunch in there. The traditional soup is very much tasty with vegetable in clear soup but I forgot the name. The drink is also fresh juice and nice taste. A bit pricy then the market restaurant.

The hotel is made mostly with old woods i.e. roof tops, restaurant, furnitures, stairs. The architecture is amazing. Classic Javanese. It is also strategically located near the Mangkunegara palace, Solo's main street and many restaurants. Their food is sub-standard but I could easily go to other places.

A restaurant that doubles as a cultural landmark in Solo. Traditional Javanese wooden architecture, lush greeneries, a room dedicated to local music, and grand servings of local cuisines. A must for tourists. The food is authentic but may not suit all tastes. But the atmosphere and design capture Solo very well.

The restaurant is not so far from Solo Balapan Train Station (only 10 minutes by car/taxi). It is decorated with many classic ornaments, like pictures of old era artists, framing Javanese Quotes that hanging on the wall, etc. The food was fantastic.
