A small but lovely eatery. Very kind and attentive service. The flavours were delicious and the price very reasonable. We recommend it highly.

This is my first bad review but it has to be said. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday but our food came 2 hours late and the place ran out of beer before 9pm. When the food finally arrived, the samosas were good but everything else was so-so. The mixed vegetable curry was disappointingly bland even if I... More
During our stay in Ubud we visited Warung Sharaswaty 5 or 6 times, trying different dishes and always left happy. Everything is freshly prepared and full of flavour. Our favourites were Bengan Tamatar (grilled eggplant, cooked with tomatoes), and fresh cucumber raita next to it....Actually, you can order every dish mild, medium or spicy---by your taste. And they have a... More
They boast of the best daal served and no msg but it's no way close to Indian recipes since Indian foods don't require msg for the flavour. The chapatis are nice and soft and rice is cooked well but the portions are very very small compared to anything available elsewhere. The paneer was just OK and the dal didn't taste... More
Very bad Energy . We were treated with very bad mood and bad Treatments by a lady. The food is nothing special and the prices are more expensive than they display on the facade. Ah, not to mention the hidden service fees ... I will not be back! what a pity.
We ate here for dinner one night when staying in a nearby hotel. The starters were very impressive - really liked the samosas and the pakora! The mains were also good although the curries were a bit more thin than we were expecting. Really enjoyed the meal overall.
we spotted this warung on our way back from Ubud and stopped for Dinner. Ordered Paneer Butter Masala and rotis. Rotis were good but the curry was too liquidish with few paneer pieces in there. Taste was ok as well.
All food fresh cooked, vegan opzions, very delicious. We were there with kids and they did not want them to play and run around although we were the only guests and kids did not do anything rude or disturb/destroy anyone/thing. The chief woman (not the cook) was very unfriendly and we left immediately after eating.
Having some great lunch here. The curry was good although it was a bit too watery and not enough spicy, and Paneer Tikka Masala was another good taste. Try to have the seat in 2nd floor, better atmosphere there. Need to wait in a lil bit long time for the food being ready, but it was understandable since everything was... More
