Special night for couples for all ages, special beef dish that's really amazing. I enjoy eating while watching couples dance in Spanish songs.

The location overlooking the forest and the restaurant itself is lovely, but the food was a complete disappointment and the cost, compared to many other local restaurants, was totally overpriced.

Dear Reontheroad Thanks so much for your review but in order for us to improve we would really love a bit more information, such as, what exactly did you eat and what sort of price did you pay. That's what a review is. Are you comparing us to local warungs because, as far as food goes, we have done our... More

A beautiful lunch accompanied by a beautiful view! The staff were so lovely and the food was delicious. There was a real tranquil ambience to this place, away from hustle and bustle so it was lovely place to enjoy lunch!

We have made a point of eating at the Indus Restaurant every time we visit Ubud as it's a clear favourite. The menu is extensive and the meals are fresh and flavoursome and reasonably priced. This time the service was lacking. The staff were not busy at all, the restaurant was very quiet but they were just not interested. Our... More

Dear Ingrid Thanks so much for your review. I'm so sad you didn't enjoy your last experience at Indus. I have spoken to the staff about it - it's truly odd that they were not more attentive. Anyway I do hope you return and would love to offer you a complimentary meal for you both next time. Best Janet More

I have always loved Indus, but this time I was disappointed. I went with a party of four and being a foodie was excited about eating here again. I was so disappointed. After raving about it to my friends, we all had a very average meal, mine was actually below average. The duck looked like an unskilled tradie had taken... More

Our driver took us there and we had a very nice lunch with the well described great view of the valley. The chicken satays with the peanut sauce were nice, but nothing exciting. Our friends got the sampler which they seemed to enjoy. Service was a little slow, but they were nice. Overall a positive experience and I would go... More

We decided to have brunch at Indus as we heard it has an amazing view. Indeed it’s wonderful to sit out on the breezy terrace and enjoy the expansive, lush green scenery around. I ordered one of the vegetarian dishes on the menu and took one bite of the tofu which tasted horrendous as it was burnt. The restaurant kindly... More

Salsa night there every friday and monday with an amazing local salsa band ! From 7:30pm to 10pm. Possibility to dance, but hard to switch partner, or hard to dance if you are alone. Many local people that are there with salsa teacher or with agreement with other dancer. The ambiance is really nice, the view from the terrace is... More
