I visited Indus with friends on our first night out in Ubud. The restaurant is amazing with a spectacular view of the valley below. The food really lets down this magnificent view. I had the Nasi Goreng where the egg on top had a solid...More

Dear Adam. Thanks so much for your kind review. I am actually relieved you could see the majestic view even though it was nighttime. I guess it must have been a full moon. I'm so sorry about the egg - I will make sure my...More

I may agree with other reviewers who say that the view is breathtaking and that the place is cozy. However, the food is not that good. I had a chicken satay with peanut sauce, the flavour of which was pure ginger. So intense that I...More

Fragrantrice, Owner at Indus Restaurant, responded to this review

Dear Ruben. Thanks so much for your kind review. What strikes me as odd is that we don't actually use ginger in our satay. Neither in the sauce, or chicken marinade. And ginger is normally prescribed to alleviate nausea. So I guess I am a...More

Booked Indus following a great write up in the Flavours of Bali book. Our choices up until this point had been great, meals at Cascades, Copper Kitchen and bar, and Locavore all had lived up to expectations until now. Indus is the sister restaurant to...More

Hi we visited your restaurant and it was excellent. Can you please tell me what is the name of the statue of the female goddess statue sitting in lotus position with her hand to the side of her head on your patio? I would like to purchase a statue like this. Is it made of stone or metal? Also, what village can I buy a statue like this?
