We sat at the tables near the street. Nice breeze and great spot for people watching. We also spied a monkey stealing a water bottle from a scooter. Nice cold beers and food. Staff isn’t the most attentive

The service was very very slow. The chicken in the chicken salad was just bones and cartilages the dressing was just plain mayonnaise. The pineapple (fruit salad) had no taste and the yogurt was bland. The waiter was nice though

If you’re after delicious, authentic Indonesian with fresh, clean ingredients - this is your place. My friends Tempe and Tofu satay was simply delicious. Lightly spicy and loads of sauce - quite truthfully it’s the BEST satay I’ve tasted in Ubud. While the food was...a little slow to arrive - it was obviously due to care and attention in the making of the meals. Loads of choice for vegetarian/vegan and so cheap. (Sorry about the photo - we wolfed down the food - too good to wait and fuss around for the photo!)More

Wife and i been staying at Camplung Sari hotel (another great place) we found the Brata Cafe just short walk up hill (monkey forrest rd) on right hand side. They are a great little cafe beautiful staff and the best Asian food at the lowest...price around. You cant go wrong wife and i went many times for lunch and tea and were never disappointed.More

Food is good in brata cafe. If you are an indian and an eggie and have a plan to visit monkey forest. You can stop at this cafe for a spicy on order omlette and a sandwich which will give a feel of indian type...of falvour. Small but nice place to fill your hungry stomach.More

Just came back from there. Place was empty but for me and my husband. Service was slow but the staff were very polite. Settled for the Balinese yellow rice as the campur was not available. My husband ordered the nasi goreng, which he says was...nothing to write home about. My order came much later than my husband's but there was no yellow rice, fish or sambal matah as stated on the menu. After all that, they still get 4 stars from me because my food, despite simple, was simply to die for. So I reckon that as long as you go in with an open mind, are no stickler for getting your order exactly as stated on the menu and are not starving in the first place, then you can still leave thinking it was worth the visit! 😉 Not to mention the prices, which are ridiculously low.More
