I have been staying at Shanti Toya Ashram for the past two weeks, eating nothing but tofu, Tempe and organic vegetables. Needless to say, I was craving some really good food and service. You would think that I would be happy with anything at this point. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst culinary experiences that I have had in... More

Had a fabulous afternoon at Mozaic learning how to prepare some new dishes and ways to incorporate Balinese spices. The workshop area is beautiful, extremely clean and very well stocked. Loved the brief tour in the garden sampling and learning about the spices, herbs and fruits grown on site. It was just the right amount of information - detailed enough... More

Came here while on my honeymoon, and my wife and I loved it. Its not at all cheap, and in Indonesia one can question whether this is overpriced, but for a special occasion this place really gets the job done. Upon entering we were seated in a living room and offered an amuse bouche, in this case a pastry with... More

This place is one of the first fine-dining restaurants that opened in Ubud and paved the way for other fantastic chefs to choose Ubud as their residence. Chef Chris Salan is a Le Cordon Bleu cooking school graduate who certainly knows how to market himself as a professional. It's a tasting menu in a lovely setting and the staff certainly... More

From the moment you walk through the door at Mozaic you're comfortably in the hands of the team there who make it their work to anticipate your needs. Whilst we were walked carefully through the menu we tried the house cocktail and found it absolutely amazing. It really set the tone for the remainder of the experience. Every dish has... More

It was several years since we had last visited and we were not disappointed on our return visit (in spite of a delay due to a communication breakdown between EZ Table and the restaurant concerning our reservation). The dégustation was varied, delicious and beautifully presented. The setting was romantic. The service was friendly and very efficient. This remains one of... More

We live in Lyon, France (culinary capital of the world) and often go to Michelin star restaurants. This one of our top ever. Amazing fusion, brand new tastes we never experienced. Surprise menu and all for a very decent price for the quality. If you like and appreciate good food, you will pleased.

Wow! This place was gorgeous from start to finish. When I travel during the holidays I like to have some semblance of a Christmas meal. I have to say, it's better than any Christmas Meal I could have made at home! Delicious food, each course somehow better than the previous and exciting new tastebuds. Highly recommend with the wine pairing.... More

We ordered the Discovery Menu and really enjoyed our meal at Mozaic. This is our second visit here and was a little shocked to find that the menu was pretty similar to our first experience back in 2015. Food wise everything was decent but it didn’t make us say “wow, that was amazing". Nothing was bad, but there is nothing... More
