This place was a Lovina institution for so long that it’s hard to believe that it is now closed. However, the good news is that you will find Suri, the brains behind JB’s, managing The Cabana, a new seaside restaurant at the Hotel Lilin. Just...head towards Seririt and you’ll find it just past Pepito supermarket. Well worth a visit.More

JB's wife cooks the food and makes quite a good go of it but the meals can be different on different nights. JB himself is a warm hearted, totally likeable big man and we are happy to know him. He treats his staff well and...they always give good service. His BIntang Beer is always icy cold YES!More

In all our years of travel to Bali this was by far the worst meal we have ever had. We ordered the 'Seafood basket'. They were out of squid, the prawns were shrimps (6) and the tuna (very small piece) was dry and tasteless. The...'chips' were potato cubes accompanied by a table spoon of frozen veg. We read the reviews before going to this restaurant in Lovina and have no idea how they got such good reviews. Perhaps they had an off night because our meal was appalling. Will never go back there.More

It is the best restaurant in town in this price range. We have been here 3 times, 1 time for lunch and twice for dinner and it was really really good. The staff is really friendly aswell and the food is really good and full...of flavor. On top of this they are really cheap aswell. I surely recommond the Nasi Campur!More

We’ve had dinner and it was excellent. One of the best curry I’ve had at Bali. Prices for us Europeans are ridiculous. Desserts are really tasty. Food isn’t that spicy but you can ask for more. And yes it isn’t all Indonesian food and you...find some European dishes. Place to come back.More

We just keep coming back. The food is excellent. The prices are modest. The service is pleasant. The atmosphere is relaxed. All the food we've tried here has been delicious: soups, spring rolls, chicken steak, salad with grilled prawns, seafood basket... Really, just a very...good place.More

Don't ever eat their sauce. We have overlooked yesterday the kitchen staff was pouring hot sauce left overs (from the plate they give to clients) back to the bottle so that they could use it next time serving next customer. Disgusting. Also, I had a...fly in my soup but it wasn't as bad as the sauce we have eaten prior to seeing this action in the kitchen... I forgot to mention they did it in front of the restaurant owner (he was in the kitchen that moment). We will never go back there againMore

This was our favourite little Warung in Lovina. We ate here 3 times. Loved the capcay and prawn curry. Great mie goreng and beef rendang... Nice cheap beers and great service with a smile. Definitely try this place when you're in Lovina!
